The thread OP has no clue what he just said. being a Malayalee Myself, I can for sure say that most of the people in Kerala can speak fluent Hindi and English. Malayalam is not a dying language but today's generation has got a strange aversion towards anything native when there are a more valuable teachings and lessons available in native languages than what you can ever find in English.
Its not compulsory for Non-Malayalees.
Since these guys have been brought up in a religious manner, they tend to draw similar comparisons on the languages as well , that anyone who likes or promotes their native language is an enemy of other state languages . lol .
