I find original post dubious. First off, Nawaz Sharif knew about Kargil. The plan was twice put before Benazir Bhutto as well but she was an intelligent person. Well versed with diplomacy. She turned it down. But Nawaz Sharif is a dumb man when it comes to such matters. He did give a go ahead not knowing what the operation is all about.

Then article claims that call was tapped by Indian Intelligence between Chief of Staff and Musharraf. If that is the case, why were Indians caught off guard at the start of Kargil? If I am not wrong, this man is enjoying Nawaz Sharif political party these days, no?
