Karachi: Zulfiqar Mirza's statement triggers another round of violence

As i said, i don't support any political party, they are all traitors in one way or the other. If this was a thread about ANP, PPP then i would also criticize them.

In other words you are confirming my doubts about you, so now not only are you a MQM supporter but you are also a Jamati supporter! how much more extremer can i get?

that's what you said last time but you came back.

You started it buddy...

.
People here saying altaf should come back or MQM should make a new leader are totally fools. If MQM supporters want altaf to come back surely he should come or if people want other leader of MQM surely MQM should make a new leader but if MQM supporters don't have a problem so what's the problem with PPP & waderay supporters, why you guys are burning? As for me i have post before & posting again that i personally don't like altaf but i like MQM because it have educated people who know that if a country needs to rise & stand on it's own feets it needs to grow up it's economy & exports. Also i support APML & PTI more than MQM, all parties other than these three are failed parties & cannot deliver anything good for Pakistanis.

Often I have wondered if MQM was a party of exiled?? Most of its ardent supporters now live in UK, USA, Australia, NZ, and Canada and proudly flaunt their foreign passport but still consider themselves "Mohajir in Pakistan. There is something not right with the psychology of these people. Too much lies and propaganda cannot sustain a campaign. MQM went from a party of supposed immigrants to a national movement without much popularity. A major diversion in course which is a hint of fault lines to begin with. In simple logic, that would mean it wasn’t popular with mohajir slogans to begin it. When I witness the 90's crack down on MQM, it was done in lieu of rampant ransom and extortion activities of MQM which made major industries to shift towards Punjab. And people celebrated and distributed sweets after news of crack down on MQM.

I don’t agree with drunkard ZM, but one has to analyze his statements in historical context. We should take elevate the subject out of taboo and actually study the patterns of Indian Muslim immigrants.

A minority of them let’s say 20% came either to contribute to Pakistani state materially or intellectually or as refugees from riot torn areas. These were the rightful claimants of immigration status because either they wanted to contribute or flee for safety of their lives. An international clause which grants them the right so. The Pakistan movement was stronger among the intellectuals of Northern India and Urdu speaking circles therefore the Urdu speakers naturally dominated the migration waves. For them, it was the dream homeland, the future of Muslim might in Indian sub-continent.

A larger wave, let say 80% of them especially during the 50's and 60's came out of economic opportunism. Everyone is aware of claims scam post partition. People crossed the borders and went from nothing to something. By fraudulent paper work, many turned into wealthy tycoons overnight. The supposed academic might is not more than a myth as many of these were labor / uneducated class from north Indian states. They would then get a chance to flaunt their wealth to their left over relatives in India. Given the rampant crime and fraud in northern Indian states, there is very little to discount this theory.

These people had no interest in Pakistan; they only came to use it as a stepping stone. Their mentality is akin to a person going to gulf in temporary basis to earn handsome cash. His life still remains attached back home. They couldn't digest being called "Pakistanis" because they considered themselves higher than thou with their new found wealth and power. Their pride and loyalty was still back home where they would go to flaunt their wealth. When their potential of economic opportunism ran out, they simply fled to Europe, USA and Canada. This is the real face of pro MQM lot.

We never hear about contributions or sacrifices made by the forefather of top MQM leadership?? What did Altaf or Mustafa Kamal father / grandfather contributed to Pakistan in terms of sacrifices, material and academic? Can someone elaborate further?? The innocent Karachities are now caught in a war of bigotry led by MQM on one front and PPP + ANP alliance on other. Both are going on a civilian shooting spree in broad daylight.

All we hear is blah blah about supposed suffering and stuff but nothing to the point. The real people who really contributed to Pakistan don't whine about having jobs as a teacher back in India and not having anything in Pakistan. Neither they support or maintain membership in MQM, at-least not one I have seen.

The question of MQM is gradually turning into a national security threat for Pakistan, it has to rise above the taboo and discussed on grounds of national security, ethics and morals. MQM top leadership should be bought out of their hiding closets in London, USA, Canada, etc. and questioned about their motives, agenda and intentions.

Instead of ranting & posting $hit here, go through some facts. It was Muhajirs who turned a fisher village to a mighty economical hub & giant of Pakistan & that reamains to date. It was a Muhajir who make Pakistan a nuclear power. Edhi foundation that works for every Pakistani was founded by a Muhajir. Not only this but Muhajirs are the ones who are owners of most of the companies & industries in Pakistan. Muhajirs are the Pakistanis who are working on high value jobs in foriegn lands unlike others who drive cabs or works on a restaurant or even get caught by police for evil stuff(everyone knows). Actually people of your type hate Muhajirs too much & are so blind that you can't see that it is Muhajirs who are running the economy(even they have 7%of total Pakistan population but they are contributing for 70% of GDP). And we are in foriegn lands with no troubles but it is our love for our motherland Pakistan that we feel pain & we don't need to prove our love to dumbs like you.

aray bhai, you accused me for starting debate again, so link proves that it was 'you' who came back not me.

I accused you for starting the debate with regards to racism/ethnocentrism, you need to reread carefully:
"But that was all long past, until now when you brought up the same topic again. i was pissed that he used those words even though i was replying to his post for some reason you started defending his post."

This is what you said in your post #699:
"But hatred against one party is not justified based on ethnicity"
which basically restarted the whole race/ethnicity issue.

I didn't accuse you for starting the debate in regards to MQM, political parties etc because that has been going on before i joined the thread.

Just to add, beside Qadeer Khan, they also contributed towards space program of Pakistan.

The prominent names of PAEC include Razi ud din Siddiqi, Ghulam Murteza, and Riazuddin etc.

@ somebozo, have you come up with something new? Majority of your post is based on assumptions nothing else, and have already posted by you in previous pages..
Not assumptions but experience and history. We witnessed a lot from the birth of Pakistan until the events now and are a well connected influence family to have direct info from the source.

Instead of ranting & posting $hit here, go through some facts. It was Muhajirs who turned a fisher village to a mighty economical hub & giant of Pakistan & that reamains to date. I will answer your questions step by step...sure MQM propoganda might be taking a toll on some people memory but that doesnt change the fact. You are unrightfully claiming the credit of 20% who actually contributed to Pakistan over the 80% who only benefitted.

It was Muhajirs who turned a fisher village to a mighty economical hub & giant of Pakistan & that reamains to date.
Karachi was established as a major trading hub by the British in 1839..No mohajirs back then. How about the other side of the coin, MQM raising the banner of Mohajir rights completely infested the city with terrorism, no-go zones, criminal activities, kidnapping, murders, loot, plundering and exortion between 1987 - 1992 and completely destroyed the international image of Karachi as well as its forgien investment potential?

In 1795, Kolachi-jo-Goth passed from the control of the Khan of Kalat to the Talpur rulers of Sindh. The British, venturing and enterprising in South Asia opened a small factory here in September 1799, but it was closed down within a year because of disputes with the ruling Talpurs. However, this village by the mouth of the Indus river had caught the attention of the British East India Company, who, after sending a couple of exploratory missions to the area, conquered the town on February 3, 1839.
It was a Muhajir who make Pakistan a nuclear power. Edhi foundation that works for every Pakistani was founded by a Muhajir..
So what about the other side of the coin?? Then it was also a muhajir who sold national secrets to Iran, Libya, North-Korea and god knows who not. So back to square one, he was just an economic oppurtunist, the so called 80%. Infact, its a documents fact that he did not bring nuclear tech to Pakistan out of patriotism but for monetory gains. And got paid back more than he could dream for. Excessive pride kills rationality. What you are doing is honking every one with the same stick. Trying to claim the contributions of 20% over 80%. If my brother scored a gold medal in world olympics, that doesnt give me some sort of elevated status ? does it?

Not only this but Muhajirs are the ones who are owners of most of the companies & industries in Pakistan.

And other people are sitting in outback cultivating fields?? Seriously, where did these assumptions came from?? Someone is accusing me of assumption while they are talking their own assumptions? I know most of the industries around Sindh are owned by Mohajirs, some noteable and respected icons are Hamdard foundation, Adamjee groups, etc etc but thats not the case all over Pakistan. There are many enterprising people of all kinds from every corner of Pakistan and they must be respected for their efforts, contribution in terms of tax revenues and jobs for the youth.

Muhajirs are the Pakistanis who are working on high value jobs in foriegn lands unlike others who drive cabs or works on a restaurant or even get caught by police for evil stuff(everyone knows).
Driving a cab or working in a hotel, work is respectable regardless of what is it. Being inflicted with superiorist mentality is not. I can bring you equivalent numbers of ethinic Pakistani majorities working as world class researchers, scientests, doctors, etc etc and an equivalent number of Mohajirs indicted in crime and serving jail time. The deal is yours! Seriously.

Actually people of your type hate Muhajirs too much & are so blind that you can't see that it is Muhajirs who are running the economy(even they have 7%of total Pakistan population but they are contributing for 70% of GDP).
I am a Mohajir myself (by MQM definition) because I do not belong to any native ethinic group of Pakistan so may be I hate myself too.. and all my friends and family as well. However, your ridicolus claim calls for a research. The major export industries of Pakistan are now all concentrated in Punjab in part thanks to MQM terrorism. Secondly, Karachi is the only port city Pakistan has so natrually it is the largest contributor in terms of taxes due import / export activities not the largest contributor in GDP. Because all provices are bound to use Karachi port for export, the revenues earned cannot be attributed alone to Karachi. This is where MQM seeks to exploit the gold mine by intentional disinformation and propoganda. Once the gawadar port of fully operations, this dependy will break and Altaf bhai worshippers will be forced to starve. This is the fear behind altaf bhai sympathy diaherria towards corrupt baloch sardars like bugti. I dont hate Mohajirs I hate the MQM political refugees trying to hack Pakistan for economic gains.

And we are in foriegn lands with no troubles but it is our love for our motherland Pakistan that we feel pain & we don't need to prove our love to dumbs like you.
Thats why Altaf is a Mohajir in Pakistan but a proud british citizen in london. This is the epictome of "refugee" mentality and identity crises which has become evident. If you have soo much love, please come forward and contribute. Dont go around supporting a criminal party whose activities are terrorism, exortion, ransom and gun running.

Altaf: I am proud to serve the divide and rule agenda of my British master.

Debate calls for sane headness, rationality, facts and figures. It cannot be held on the lines of party propoganda and agenda.

Over the years, the oppurtunist got infested with refugee mindest. They came to prosper economically and thats about it. The continously detrioating political situation between India and Pakistan closed the gates of re-migration to India. The frustation boiled up and exploded in a form of MQM. The whole of MQM agenda was they wanted economic prosperity for granted. They are overly infested with false pride and have hijacked my indentity and tarnished my reputation for their own political gains.

Altaf Hussian comes from a similar low-educated lot who came to Pakistan for economic gains and employment. He spent most of his time and grew up in his brother government service quarter. The very government, he would then come to challenger for not giving employment to Mohajirs. There are no evidences to support that his family were higher than thou qualified or commanded any academic or scientific might. All is know is that his grandfather, Mufti Ramzan Hussain was reowned scholar of Agra (UP). and Altaf own father was just a railway station master in pre-partition India. A lot of scientefic contribution to new born state of Pakistan, year right. The academic background of Mr Altaf family itself does not warrant any high paying job neither any kind of scientefic or academic contribution towards state.

These are the reason why political migrants and refugees in other countries are not settled in major metroplitan cities. Looks up the case of Palestinean refugees in Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia or stranded Pakistanis in Bangladesh. There aint MQM in Bangladesh as of yet.

My grandfather (dada) who can be considered neutral because he was an English man witnessed the birth of Pakistan right from 14th August 1947 and all the unfolding events following it. He was invitied by the GOP to offer his banking expertise and played a founding role in major financial institutions of Pakistan including the State Bank of Pakistan and NBP. Almost 90% of my family works in Insurance and Banking sectors across Pakistan, Bahrain, Oman and Libya. We have extensive ties to banking and insurance colgermates of Pakistan. In his diaries somewhere around early 1957, upon the signing of trade accords between India and Pakistan, wrote about the corruption and nepotism of oppurtunist people inviting and settling their releatives on religious grounds and unrightfully capitalizing on employments generated in Pakistan. He also wrote about the incompetency of Pakistan government in promoting employment for its indigenious ethinic groups and how the situation could turn into an ethic war if it were to implode. Few decades later, it all came out to be truth.

Thanks for this .. this is why I still say urdu speaking folks are like my brothers. It takes an honest and upright person to speak the truth.

As you can see they ask for evidences and you have provided enough of them for a sane person to see the light. However, in return MQM party supporters will only come back with a rant . unfortunately, they like to call themselves educated but in reality they are like parhey likhey jaahils ..

even within MQM coordination committee .. if these people really deal with them .. they would know the truth .. I do. Ofcourse they are blinded by their ego ... may Allah show them light ..

Edhi Ambulances have regularly been attacked and thrashed by Altaf Kaalia gang, especially during 1992 - 1995 where the kaalia gang resorted to throwing mutilated corposes of rival MQM-A group and police men for the purpose of "showing an example".

KARACHI, Nov 21: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement on Sunday rejected the allegations levelled by Maulana Abdul Sattar Edhi, who had implicated the party in the burning of one of his ambulances.

Ansar Burney welfare trust, another humanitarian foundation established by an "Urdu Speaking Mohajir" from Lucknow, was repeatedly thrashed, intimidated and attacked during 1992-1995 violent clashes for their humanitarian services of picking up dead bodies left on street by MQM. Just a day or two before his wedding, Sarim Burney, the brother of trust founder Ansar Burney was brutally attacked by MQM thugs with AK-47 while driving an "on duty" ambulance carrying a dead body picked up from street. He got three bullet wounds.

An ambulance driver of Ansar Burney trust was also killed by MQM and a threat in clear words was sent to Ansar Burney office in Saddar, Karachi. To make an example out of anyone showing sympathy towards MQM rivals.
