Zulfi thinks his people own this land. Now lets clarify that Sindhi Hindus are the true owners of Sindh. His people were servants for these big Sindhi Hindus. His grandmother or mother was probably mortgaged to a Sindhi Hindu as that was the norm back in the days.

I certainly doubt the Urdu Speaking community had the sole contribution to it.

First off, I was never arguing for or against that MQM is a regional or national party so I see your post as irrelevant to the topic at hand. Having said that, the arguments that I have made have not been adequately addressed by the MQM supporters but I'll still answer your question. MQM won its seats for Kashmir elections which were situated in Karachi. It was the elections for the Kashmiri seats in Karachi held for Kahsmiri migrants. MQM was still playing in its backyard and thus had no problem in winning elections on those Kashmiri seats.

PPP is extremely unpopular in Pakistan, even in interior sindh their stronghold. So now they are issuing dumb statements like "you will break sindh over my dead body" to get support from sindhi nationalists (who aren't too fond of ppp right now or ever were)

No doubt ZM and ANP are bigoted but that is not a reason to advocate another groups of fools.. People of Karachi in general want peace...MQM is like being enforced on them in a form of "jagerdar". Jagerdaari is not only about land holding, it is a mere concept which can come in various forms. MQM enforces its jageerdari on Karachi by collective punishments of Karachites. Nobody, not atleast the educated and sane headed Mohajir / Urdu speaker / what ever you call them take either of the party seriously.

What MQM does is play the mind games like Saddam. Be extremely rewarding and extremely punishing at the same time..so subtly they are sending the message..Look we know we are the bad guys, but if you side with us there are rewards otherwise we will turn to our usual savagery. It amounts to holding the economic capital of Pakistan as virtual hostage. Karachi was establish by the British as port city, it is the Dubai of Pakistan. It is open for all to come trade and earn. One Political party will cannot be enforced on all residents.

I have a suggestion, Karachi should be made politically neutral zone. No political party shall operate in Karachi.

PPP had always been unpopular..it is the party of drunkard jagerdars who dont even have manners to talk. They have always come to power through treachery and arrogance. Hence should be called "Pakistan Partition Party". I want to see how these blind sindhi nationalists will survive without Karachi as a financial capital and all the Mohajir intellectual pool of talent which runs this city? These nationalist should be more concerned about their own areas and their sardars / waderas which are sucking the national wealth keeping masses in stone age even today.

The problem with MQM followers is that are blinded by the fat behind of their quaid. They think Karachi was some barren land which they helped turn into wonder oasis. Karachi was founded by the British 200 years before the partition of India. And MQM just wants to hold it as a hostage with false propaganda to control the financial nerve of Pakistan. It is not a patriotic party, but another thug, jagerdar wadera. This is exactly what is expressed by MQM mentality on issues of Karachi. They consider Karachi to be their backyard.

There are dozens of people who migrated to Pakistan on the news of migrants being settled into Karachi for the sake of mere economic benefits because India adopted socialism back then and posed a great hindrance to business communities engaged with middle east. These are peaceful business minded people and MQM cannot thrive to look for support into them so they choose to harass them with famous parchees.

Secondly, the migrants are not exclusively urdu speakers but came from countries as far as Afghanistan, Central Asia, Germany and even Poland. But MQM at large is composed of one single ethnic majority? WHY???

All of these migrants have merged in and have no problems what so ever with any ethinic majority of Pakistan while its MQM and only MQM which keeps reinventing the ethnic propaganda and cause riots.

To understand the politics of MQM, one has to study the mafia dons of UP and Bihar in India. Same tactics different ground. There was a time when these mafia bosses were highly despised and targeted. Today they are sitting in parliaments as elected members..

So you are saying, as long as someone does not make bigoted / differing statements to MQM and its agenda, Karachi will remain a heaven. This is no different than the "wadera" mentality which MQM takes pride to oppose. Tolerating criticism is part of democratic values.

The problem is that when the things go into the hands of street mobs, they could not be satisfied at all till they suck enough blood of each other. the mobs never know where to go and what will be end. so if these mobs get to the position of leadership they always wrec havoc with the people. that is what actually happening in karachi past decades.

i do not think the real good families who are for sure are lessor than the street mobs will ever support for parties like mqm, pti, ji etc. etc. because they look to the background of those people, a quality that mobs lack. So never ever beggars, vulgurs, lowly elements can rescue a nation.

So there cannot be any peace in near future until a person like khomini with strong background show up in pakistan and eradicate those lowly elements who always pit people against each other.

a verbal statement or bluff by an enemy cannot be responded thru violence, killings, burning others properties etc. so infact MQM is responsible for the recent problem. MQM made calm after withdrawal of few words by its enemy, now it should also return those innocents killed to their families.

In no condition anyone should resort to violence, those who do without any fear of GOD infact are problem creators.

I thought I answered, anyways, everything is normal and as usual, like you have in other cities. It is just politicians who when start dirty games, ruins the peace of Karachi. We have people from every ethnic groups in our social circles, and do not carry hate for each other. Like I have pashtuns in my office, they are hard workers and doing their works normally. It is not like that if some ZM blabbers sh!t about someone so we stand up against our friends. In my neighbors pashtun / sindhi / urdu speakers etc. lives, and they live their life normal and do not hate each others.
