Russia's family of KAB-1500, KAB-500 and KAB-250 smart bombs are an equivalent to the US Paveway II/III, GBU-8/15, and GBU-31/32 JDAM families of guided bombs. Sharing common design modules with unique seeker designs, and a range of standard warhead types, this family of weapons encompasses all of the baseline capabilities in their US equivalents.

1. It is not clear wheater it is an Iranian made variant or the orginal Russian variant.

2. It seems to be the "L" variant, semi-active laser guidance.

ALCON,

Nothing "new" here. It's been public knowledge that Iran imported the KAB-1500L for many many years, both according to folks like SIPRI and photos. The example parade is identical to the "blue" ones seen on display in front of IRIAF Su-24s.

Whether the blue color indicates it being a training round is unknown, though it's unlikely to be the normal color scheme of operational weapons.

I’m curious to know how much PGMs Iran has, since Iran doesn’t have an extensive airforce and is no waging air campaigns around the world, what does the inventory look like?

How well would Iran do in a conflict where it needs to replenish its PGM supply continuously?
