Seems like the Mi 35 has gotten too old. Hope the Apaches arrive sooner.

. .
Old machines..How long are we gonna put their lives in danger!!
Ditch Russian machines.

. .
India needa to ramp up its attack helicopters manufacturing bases or atlest purchase more . Insted we are focusing on high end arms like s400s, raffles, nuclear subs .

.

Update: IAF HQ says no mi-35 crashed, but an IAF MiG-23 trainer which was mothballed in reserve crashed during a training sortie.
Both pilots ejected safely.

Epic fail.
No Mi-35 crashed, it was a MiG-23UB from reserve storage.

NEW DELHI: An Indian Air Force's MiG-23 trainer aircraft crash landed on Thursday at Rajasthan's Balesar in Jodhpur district, PTI reported.

"It was a MiG-23 UB trainer plane and both the pilot and co-pilot are safe," News agency said while quoting defence sources.

Earlier, it was reported that Indian Army's MI-35 helicopter has crash landed'

Why would IAF bring out an aircraft which has been mothballed, unless there was an urgent need.
