وَجَاوَزْنَا بِبَنِي إِسْرَ‌ائِيلَ الْبَحْرَ‌ فَأَتْبَعَهُمْ فِرْ‌عَوْنُ وَجُنُودُهُ بَغْيًا وَعَدْوًا ۖ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا أَدْرَ‌كَهُ الْغَرَ‌قُ قَالَ آمَنتُ أَنَّهُ لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا الَّذِي آمَنَتْ بِهِ بَنُو إِسْرَ‌ائِيلَ وَأَنَا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ﴿٩٠﴾ آلْآنَ وَقَدْ عَصَيْتَ قَبْلُ وَكُنتَ مِنَ الْمُفْسِدِينَ ﴿٩١﴾ فَالْيَوْمَ نُنَجِّيكَ بِبَدَنِكَ لِتَكُونَ لِمَنْ خَلْفَكَ آيَةً ۚ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرً‌ا مِّنَ النَّاسِ عَنْ آيَاتِنَا لَغَافِلُونَ

as you see , God didn't accept Phorah words before his death and , this is a great lesson for Muslims that some words can't save them and erase their sins just moment before their death ... we have to think in Quran and find out its meaning as much as we can ...
