How do you know the arrest is unlawful?

What law is being broken currently?

How long has it been since Jan was arrested and what does the law say about when he should be produced before court etc etc?

i know it as i read his colums and he wrote his point of view wish did not suit agencies and gov . he is kidnapped by state like many others . last example is father of that PTM troll .paksitna is not only PDF sure PDF will support agencies as we have here full of ultra nationalists but its open truth now on internet and media that agencies crossing their boundaries abducting journalists for their writings .

None of that tells me which law was broken by his arrest.

None of the above tells me whether Pakistani law prohibits detention or arrest without a warrant for a specific amount of time.

You keep claiming that the arrest was 'shameful and unlawful' - I'm asking you to explain how the arrest was unlawful.

Come on. I dont understand the likes of you. Half the time you praise dictators and their policies and then dance to the benefit of democracy. Democracy in true form only exist in developed worlds.
These type of people are what are called fasadi. Have problem in everything even good. Though catching him made him a hero. Other things should be done to elminate these forign funded goons.
No one can blame the state and state institutions. Specially when they wre not doing wrong.
When ptm barks you cakk for their arrest.
Why not in case of this.

If the 'rule of law' allows law enforcement or security/intelligence agencies to detain people on the basis of suspicions, then the State is functioning per the rule of law.

What you're asking for is for the laws to be changed so that detention/arrest without warrants issued by a court cannot occur outside of specific clearly defined exceptions (such as terrorism).

But if the laws in Pakistan currently allow detention for a certain period of time without court order/warrant, then you can't claim that they are 'unlawful'.

There's a difference between point of view and propaganda. Not everything can be allowed in the name of freedom of speech. There are limits being defined by State for sovereignty. Just so that someone said abduction, doesn't mean it is. Law will take it's due course.

Secondly, why should everyone will know his current state before due Time? Things doesn't work like that or at least one of us don't want to understand. Seems like arrest had once again provided a chance for many to bash and unload the burden of chest.

Had it been to do anything with something unlawful, read about journalist Aziz Menon murder. Just don't react like a knee jerk.

Social media only takes some paid trolls to push your propagandas in big numbers and that's not the truth always in this age where people with intellect are well aware of difference between truth and lies. Try not to fall for everything on Internet.

Maybe he's calling it an abduction because the State wasn't involved.

Merely wearing T-shirts that say police doesn't mean they were actually police. This was pointed out earlier, that more information was needed and people need to keep in mind that this may have been an actual abduction that the State was not involved in.

Jan has been critical of bigwigs in the media, business tycoons and politicians from all major political parties, and not just the Fauj. There are a lot of people with motives here.
