Jordan Pilot Burned Alive By ISIS

IS didn't appear out of the blue, they started in Iraq through alqaeda and ISI and were fully supported by arab nations and even a large number of governments. That was when their sole objective was to find fight and kill the shia and everyone was alright with that.

As for syria, the same ideology was already present from the beginning through jubhat Al Nusrah/ FSA (first groups to emerge in Syria). ISI members from Iraq later went to join the Syrian alongside jubhat Al Nusrah. Until the nusra/IS split happened eveyone in the arab and Muslim world was supporting them, they were even receiving weapons.

They were loud and clear from the beginning with the notorious anthems "we want to behead Shias and Alawites", as well as their plans to bomb religious sites for "blasphemy"

This was what changed the Iraqi view in the beginning otherwise the vast majority of shia Iraqis were anti-Bashar, including myself.

Trying to hide their stink at this stage and pretend that their ideology never existed from the beginjng of the revolution is ludicrous.

did you read the article ? it mentioned that the V-22's were based far away in kuwait. secondly rescuing a pilot is a procedure that all nations are trained for especially nations like the gulf where they participate in red and green flag trainings. so they have done it thousands of times.

didn't read

V-22's aren't for rescue anyway, I think UAE means they want the US to ( airdrop ) troops from the V-22 to a pilot if he's downed.
Training is not like real situations which the US has encountered more often. Red flag is for AF btw.

Anyway UAE pulled out, Jordan most likely to restart bombardments so let's see.

sunnies were being killed in iraq by shia for 10 years... syrians were being killed for 7 or 8 months until they held weapons. so keep your crap to yourself.

are you kidding me ?! v-22 isnt for rescues ?! you got tons of videos in youtube.
redflag is for AF exactly but one of the many training it involves pilot rescue. thats why small amount of special forces go to red flag.
we cant know the details but having the v-22 so far is a dumb and stupid mistake.

O I'm sorry the oppressed Sunnis in Iraq were not able to kill many more Shias than they already have, they must have been so oppressed. They must be able to kill and destroy without any human rights abuses against them. Spare your tears buddy, that story is getting old and no one is buying it.

oh and btw just to add to your info... the v-22 was created as a result of the failed rescue attempt by american forces in iran during the hostage situation. that is how it was born. if you got free time watch the documentary on youtube about the v-22 @1000

V-22 is large, heavy, noisy. To rescue a pilot in ISIS land you need undetected infiltration/exil, no one uses V-22 for that.

what tears ?! oh im thirsty for blood.. a particular kind of blood. i heard it taste so sweet. cant wait to have some trust me.

ok you are right... you know better than the pentagon. you should advise them.

The Iran attempt was different than the ones in ISIS land. The attempt in Iran was to rescue 52 diplomats, they don't fit in a Blackhawk helicopter, they were also held deep inside Iranian territory making the slow and short reaching helicopter less practical.

they wouldn't use a V-22 to rescue a pilot

AFAIK it is actually used for such missions. With air support, a group of special forces transported via v-22, special forces may have a chance at freeing hostages. However the success rate is pretty low and such operations are pretty dangerous.

Why would they use it in Syria when the flight distance from Jordan isn't far, they used black hawks for the other rescue attempts in Raqqa as far as I know. No idea what the V22 would add.

Edit

What I meant is the V-22 wouldn't be used for rescuing a captured pilot as that requires undetected infil/exfil whereas a pilot on the run has to be rescued quickly, that's where the V-22 comes in.

The osprey could travel greater distance at faster speeds and carry more troops. Blackhawks don't have the best range. They lack in speed and cannot carry enough fuel for such long missions. Unless they are based across the border in Turkey then maybe. The osprey has adjustable rotor blades, meaning it could be used as a fixed wing aircraft for better range.

Edit: I know what you mean, but realistically there is no way to carry out a rescue operation without alerting the enemy. It's an IS stronghold filled with tens if fighters hiding behind every corner, the area where prisoners are held are filled with traps making it impossible for any special forces to carry out a successful operation.

"Special forces" aren't miracle workers, even a small mistake could prove costly.

Jordan pilot hostage Moaz al-Kasasbeh 'burned alive'

A video published online by Islamic State (IS) militants claims to show Jordanian pilot Moaz al-Kasasbeh being burned alive.

The video, which could not immediately be verified, showed a man standing in a cage and engulfed in flames.

Lt Moaz al-Kasasbeh was captured when his plane came down near Raqqa, Syria, in December on a mission to support the US-led military coalition against IS.

Jordan has been attempting to secure his release as part of a prisoner swap.

The video was distributed via a Twitter account known as a source for IS propaganda.

BBC News - Jordan pilot hostage Moaz al-Kasasbeh 'burned alive'

@Ahmed Jo @BLACKEAGLE

My condolences

Kettle calling the pot black. Your hero, sisi the thug isn't any better. At least ISIS does not wear a mask. Thugs like sisi hide behind a mask while committing the same kind of crimes.

Not surprising.

The US/West should have removed the genocidal Al-Asshead regime at most 1.5 years after the civil war in Syria began.

Why is it our job to remove Assad? If you want him out you need to do it yourself. Something tells me you wouldn't come close to succeeding though. We have already sent billions in weapons and logistical support, not to mention Israel acting as FSA airforce and he's still there. Also I don't understand why Assad is 'genocidal'. Sure he may be a tyrant, but he's no more a tyrant than the rest of the ME kings and dictators. There's a civil war going on in his country and he's trying to recapture it as he has every right to do. President Lincoln fought a war that resulted in the death of more than 600000 Americans. Southerners called him genocidal, yet to Northerners he was a God. Suffice to say that in both these cases there would be no bloodshed if there was no civil war. Its simplistic to say he's genocidal when he's fighting to recapture his country from tens of thousands of imported mercanaries.

I predict that all this will be a big and costly quagmire. KSA and the GCC should not take part in any bombing campaigns and do the dirty work of failed US policy in the region (invasion of Iraq etc.).

So you don't want to bomb, but you want us to do it?

'Offer is on the table' for Arab countries to pay for full-scale U.S. invasion of Syria, says Secretary of State John Kerry | Daily Mail Online

You are acting like Israelis here. trying to get others to do your dirty work. In summation. the answer to the problems in the ME is to deal with your own problems and stop looking to the west to 'solve' them. We will only make it worse.
