Two things:
1. Indian-Americans aren’t a significant voting bloc. Most Indian-Americans live in electorally secure states, so they don’t have much impact on the ultimate impact. They can donate money to candidates, but that’s it.
2. Indian-Americans were already switching to the Republican Party due to perceived anti-Muslim bias, rise of China and host of other international relations issues
By the way, about only 50% of Indian-Americans are Hindus; so they don’t all have the attachment to the Hindu nationalist ideology of the BJP. In fact, Indian-American congressmen such as Rep. Ro Khanna are opposed to the BJP and are part of the Pakistan Caucus at the Congress
