JKLF chief comes home with his Pak bride

ammu and Kashmir [ Images ] Liberation Front Chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik and his Pakistani bride Mishal Mullick arrived in Srinagar [ Images ] on Sunday to an affectionate welcome both at the airport and at his uptown Maisuma locality in capital Srinagar.

The duo had tied nuptial knot in Islamabad [ Images ] in February last and it is first time that Mishal Mullick landed in Srinagar after her marriage.

Friends and relatives greeted the couple as they left the airport in a bedecked car.

The couple later drove straight to the Maisuma residence of Yasin Malik where ladies of the locality greeted them with traditional wedding songs called 'wanwun'.

Talking to media persons, the JKLF chairman said his wife, an internationally acclaimed artist, would not be part of any political activity.

Mishal was visibly impressed with the reception she got from the Maisuma locality.

The Pakistani-born Mishal holds a degree in political economy from London [ Images ] School of Economics and belongs to a wealthy family.

Yasin Malik is the third separatist leader to have a foreign spouse. The other two include Mirwaiz Moulvi Umar Farooq, who married a US national, and Sajjad Gani Lone, who married a Pakistani girl and daughter of JKLF founder Amanullah Khan.

The title says:

Shining example of Indo Pak love

:disagree:

.............Since when did Kashmir become part of India??

I would like to rephrase the title into :

Shining example of Kashmir Pak love

and that would be only just. Yes, our Indian bros would call it my hypocrisy, but I dont agree :disagree:

In any event, Kashmir is first an independent nation, and it is for them to decide what to do with their future, India cannot claim it for itself. Strength of arms never has been a way to control a people. In the end the people always tear down the arm of tyranny. No matter who it belongs to.

"
Shining example of Kashmir Pak love
"

If I was to go along with your hallucination, you must also see it as Kashmir screwing the living day lights out of Pakistan in your romanticized world view?

.
Touche' :azn: Since the title's now different my post can be viewed accordingly as per the change

That happened in the year 1947. Rhetoric meet rhetoric. :taz:

Well, ....... .......I could go on but I believe your intention was good for posting this thread (even though we celebrated it way back) ......SO ........ hats off to you "lamayuru" .........for the good change in the title that is :smokin:

This is malicious propaganda! But you are not known to do any better. The event was and will remain a Shining example of Indo Pak love irrespective of what fancy goggles you wear.

Not per the international community and the UN - as I often remind Indians, just because one day you decide to include California as an Indian state in your constitution because of the large Indian diaspora settled there, that does not make California a part of India, except in Indian eyes.

What the Indian constitution says on Kashmir holds no relevance internationally so long as the region remains disputed.

Why dont you dispute Tibet with the same vehemence?

Its a cementing of bonds between the divided kashmir's, and a reminder that their land and people are divided and kept divided by the Indian refusal to allow a plebiscite.

I don't see why we should stop these kinds of contacts between Kashmiris at all.

Why? We have no claim to it.

Saari dunya kay maslay sir pay to nahin na uthanay.

What does Tibet got anything to do with it?
We and Nepal got K1, our brothers got K2. Do you have a K3? Please show me a picture. Then you can talk about Tibet. :agree:

The hidden hunk in imran khan reasoned probably that he had a chance with Mishal. She is one beautiful damsel!
