The range is 120km which doesn't make sense when we have CM400, Raad1/2, H4 and Takbeer bombs but its use in China as a MACH 4.5 Anti radiation missile. As per Israeli's S-300/400 are known to be weak against hypersonic missiles so they developed their RAMPAGE missiles to counter them which look similar to the CM-400.

If you can fit those monsterous things under a JF15 wing then there is no reason why you cannot fit PL15s !!!!

The aircraft supposedly the most powerful is really its actual weakness - its seen as far out as a a320. Its current weapons suite doesn’t have good “real life” performance.

'Current' is the key word. The new R-77 have already been ordered and Astra is also on the way. Pakistan should contract the Russians for some of the new R-77s itself too so as to avoid any surprises.

Back in 2018, it was reported by only Indian sources that Pakistan might procure HD-1, a direct competitor or better than BrahMos. An airborne ramjet super-sonic ship killer missile.

Why do we assume these missiles are for Pakistan. Imagine the two serious customers right now ( Argentina & Malaysia) both want the aircraft for significant maritime role.

This combo will can be a potential deal maker.

Makes sense for Argentine Indeed. Is Malaysia in good terms with China to sell them such weapon. However, we didn't assume this missile for Pakistan but Indians sources were reporting back then in 2018. However, the assumption can lead to our own potential contender of similar kind of missiles one as Pakistan Navy hinted and so in AAM category for PAF only.
