Is this the same incident involving Spicejet SG21?
I think so.
This has been referred to in a previous post as well (in this thread).

As per rumour it was attempting to enter into Pakistani Airspace [Air Defence Identification Zone] from South our Civilian Radar network picked it up ... and enquired upon which it decided to return back .... that was a separate incident. But what is the story with the USAF jet that came into Pakistan space?
Are we not allowed to talk about it?

what made you believe it was American aircraft? As per rumour it was attempting to enter into Pakistani Airspace [Air Defence Identification Zone] from South our Civilian Radar network picked it up ... and enquired upon which it decided to return back .... that was a separate incident.
hey can you tell us what stories were circulating at that time?Agree .... and this is the "official" version.
I am interested in the "unofficial" version
There are several stories circulating:
Was it a stealth jet?
USAF wanted to check PAF / AD radar range .. !!
Did our new radar picked a USAF stealth jet?
most are unsubstantiated rumours .... it was stealth or not should not be the concern as we have in past picked US stealth jets in Afghanistan and Americans know it .... they are also aware about range of our Air defence and Identification zone as well as range and frequencies of our radar as many are imported from USA itself .... I find no reason to believe those rumours ....Was it a stealth jet?

I was NOT the one who in ATC picked that aircraft .... this question must be asked to the concerns ... not to me .... I simply stated what already is in Public Knowledgewhat made you believe it was American aircraft?

we have valid reason and right to disagree and criticise PAF leadership for not extending the 27 February 19 lead
but we must be sparing with dangling our Nuclear manhood on every possible opportunity otherwise its significance diminishes,
Indian army fire over LoC ,, we have nuclear weapons,
Indians arrest Pakistani fishermen .. we have nuclear weapons,
Indians harass/ expel Pakistani diplomats we have nuclear weapons.
Arnab Goswami has a mental diarrhea against Pakistan.. we have nuclear weapons
you can count me and every other Pakistani who would've liked to see those 9 more IAF jets shot down.
but I grudgingly accept the view that our powerful massage was made to IAF and Indian military at large.
the Pak military leadership at the time took a view and made decisions thinking of 3 or 4 possible future outcomes.
in the end, it was a view taken and call made by the leadership not to take them out as in their view a point was made and a message was passed.
you can be assured even those who decided not to shoot them down did entertain themselves with going ahead with further kills but decided against it in the end. the criticism against that decision shouldnt be explained using nuclear weapons please.

Pardon me sir, I have one question? It would have been better if they have allowed one shot for the jf-17 as if it has a lock on su-30s? that would have been the best promotion for the JF-17 platform? Why they didn't go for it? any reason?
No such thing happened.
Both of the two Mirage 2000s and the two Su-30s were pulled back as they were outnumbered 6:1 (24 vs 4) and new reinforcements were being sent from Punjab, Haryana and even Rajasthan.
Why was IAF so illprepared just one day after the events of 27 Feb?
IAF and political leadership never expected the response. At that time, the shootings had not started yet, otherwise, if this thing had occurred after the shot down of MIG-21, then the Thunders would probably have been given go-ahead as well.
...and intercepted calls do reveal that Mirgade 2000s cited their radar failure as well, then they bugged out.
Moreover, calling reinforcements from far flung areas indicated lack of contingency planning on the IAF's side, especially after what they did a day before.
There was much heated debate within PAF after this as there were seven IAF aircraft that were sitting ducks....but the higher ups didn't give clearance......
We are sure that despite our focus to hit treelines or “useless” targets - some ancillary damage occurred with the ReKs.
No casualties were intended - however the large bombs and the ground shock could have triggered something.
It means we have to further improve our weapons accuracy and precision. Although, the error or practically on ground, it is insignificant but PAF always target for the best of its capabilities and refining ourselves is part of it. As the saying goes, there is always room for improvement.
As you have already highlighted, what is coming will almost nullify our recent past achievement. IAF has the capability, pilots, aircraft that can wreak havoc on us. Even without Rafales, They would pose a great threat from 250+ SU 30 MKIs to both MiG platfroms to the French Jaguars and Mirage 2Ks ( don't go for their old age, they are pretty effective aircafts with the upgrades). These all platforms have more potential than I dare say, what PAF has in its inventory. We all are lucky for IAF mismanagement, poor utilization and non-optimum net-centric capabilities. I fear when they start using their current assets in the proper way. Even now, every success and victory we get/ already gotten is my the Almighty Allah's grace and blessings.
