JF-17 Block III Model Presented To The Participants

.
I know how much that mean to us, but...
PAC & CAC's been as quiet as mouse on project all this years, then why do we think they'd lay out this toyish thing & let the cat out of the bag? They won't in anyway give the game away, if Block III is definitely a dark horse. Someone indisputably has, sort of a obsession of dishing the dirt.

.
So news channel are reporting that PAC has inaugurated Avionics Department along with Dual seaters.

looks like the 2 seater B version. Think it was a correct assumption by most of us that the block 3 would NOT have any external changes.

A Source tells me that this is the Model of JF-17 Block-3 that was presented to the PAF Air chief and other dignitaries who attended to witness the first flight of the type earlier this month.

As much as I like the excitement surrounding block III,when it does come out it will be a big shock for all the fanboys.

the shock being that it looks just like the B version. But I believe that the disappointing "shock" will wear off very fast when we see it flying in action demonstrating its flight capabilities.

The real deal is the medallion. It probably shows the JFT with a chin mounted hardpoint supporting the Aselsan pod with integrated IRST. PL15 appears to have been integrated. Rest of changes will be under the skin and invisible to the outside. The red mark just hides the chin mounted POD and HP. I dont see a IRST ala J10 neither do I see additional wing mounted HPs although SD10A on dual racks would be integrated. Changes may have been made to the DSI intakes but to see that, one can wait.
My input into this whole hide and seek bull crap.

Would there be 4 PL 15s per jet?

What I'm dismayed at is if as expected all the changes and improvements are internal, why are the authorities keen to keep it under covers....OTOH, we saw how the new production Bravos were splattered on the social media by that celebrity even before today's official rollout ceremony.

.
Only changes that are there are in the FBW,avionics and weapon integration, rest it's the same aircraft.
