I have stated here many times before, Japan's attitude towards China and USA is incomprehensible.
I am sorry to say , from the evidence of last 60 years it is clear that Japanese are the biggest soft bowlers.
Even though they take pride in their civilisation and also have a code to commit "Hara-Kiri" as a pride. But their attitude is betraying those characteristics.

Japanese have committed atrocities against the Chinese, including attacks and colonisation, humiliation, murders and loot. But still they think the Chinese are a threat to them.

While Americans have nuked two of their cities and murdered thousands of them, they still run to the USA for their protection. Not able to come out of mental slavery.

Strange behaviour , classical example of "Stockholm Syndrome".

The Japanese are subservient to the strong and cruel to the weak. Similar to Hindutva nationalists.

Japan traditionally saw China as a weak and backward country but now that’s changing so they are in a panic.

I never say south Korea don't hate or jealous of China. But if US ask SK to combine forces with Japan to attack China. They will never compiled.

Yes modern Turks absorbed Greek genes and converted them to their culture. That’s part of what ethnic cleansing looks like. The Ottoman Empire existed for centuries so they were in full control.

I think Japan's anti China sentiment comes from 3 factor: 1, US influence; 2, Fear China's revenge; 3, Ego and jealousy

I'm not agree with number 2 and 3.

Today Japan suffers from economy stagnation, and the future is bleak. I just read a news that written about 2000 Japanese companies go bankrupt recently. So, they have a very difficult problem right now. And that problem is because they can't compete against China. As long as there is the giant China, Japan won't be able to come back from their problem. So Japan must do something.

And remember, Japan has a nostalgia. Where they gloriously beaten Manchu Qing Dynasty. From the 8 alliance, to 1st Sino Japanese War, that end to World War 2. So why not try recreate the past glory and form a new alliance that called "Quad"?

Remember, before world war 2 (actually included world war 1), Japan was the ally of United States.

North Korea is still Korea. China was invited by Kim Il Sung to fight with them. China didn't invade Korea. If someday Kim gives up his power and N.Korea becomes a firm China's ally, North Korea will soon become a rich country.

It's true. Many were forced to convert and others were either killed or fled. My own grandfather managed to escape from the massacre of his entire village. I don't know if there were other survivors,sites about the genocide report that the entire population was killed,but my grandfather managed to escape.

There are also cryptochristians (typically muslims but orthodox christians in secret) but their number of course is not known.

South Korea do have land dispute with China. They want to claim the whole Changbai Shan as part of Korea. But hatre against Japan takes first priority over anything.
