Japan’s fear of China

So much 3rd grade level red book propaganda.

So what grade level propaganda is yours where you determined that China was the aggressor sparking a war against Japanese troops who were deeply imbedded in China? You need some incredible mental gymnastics to believe that garbage.
ROC began to rule China in 1912, when China's population was 400 million. In 1938, before the outbreak of the Anti Japanese War, China still had 400 million people. 26 years of zero population growth. Do you know why? Because of the internal factional civil war of ROC and the corruption and exploitation of ROC in China. Yunnan Province collected taxes 42 years in advance. A famine in Henan starved 12 million people, but KMT general Tang Enbo still robbed the refugees of food. KMT abused currency and devalued it by 5 million times. Why did the CCP you mentioned get the support of the people, win the strong with the weak and defeat KMT?

In 1949, PRC was founded with a population of 400 million. 28 years later, in 1977, the PRC had a population of 800 million. During this period, the PRC also experienced wars with the United States, the Soviet Union, France and India. And the famine of 1958-1960 you mentioned.

Don't bother explaining to this guy. He is so brainwashed about China that he won't listen to actual facts. Most Westerners are, because they've been brainwashed since birth about a country they know nothing about.

But you never think "lol Indian liars with superstitious mob rule = no food" even though they are objectively worse than Mao era China. You will never think that because you're like Pavlov's dog, you are conditioned to think about China in one way and India in another even though the god damn World Bank agrees that India today is worse than Mao era China. This isn't even to say India is horrendous, huge numbers of developing countries today have not surpassed 1970's China yet.
What the heck are you even saying,I'm not pro-Indian and I'm not "conditioned" to believe China is evil or backwards or whatever. You're stuck thinking that we grow up watching American '50s propaganda videos about the Soviet Union, but with China. I'm not going to tell you India is a superpower. I know that the Chinese have a much better life than most Indians. And one of the few good things of communism worldwide the elimination of illiteracy.
A Greek who knows nothing about China and has only seen foxTV thinks that more than a billion Chinese are fools and Chinese don't know which party is better?
Why don't have FOX here and the Chinese paid a pretty big price for choosing Mao in the end. That's what happens with communism. Of course China was already in a bad period, but the Party's policies and experiments were pretty darn nasty.

Only @tower9 admitted that and mentioned very good arguements in a polite and civilized manner. Well done tower9 👏

I didn't call it as "China being the aggressor". I said they initiated a total war that they were not ready for. For the sake of saving the run away Chinese communists. It was losing (as expected since they were not ready) in that war that makes it easy to pass what happened as an invasion initiated by the Japanese. So the the cause of all the Chinese suffering you guys keep hammering about was partly sown by that very Chinese initiation. That doesn't mean Japanese remorse about that war has no place. But the Chinese did walk into it. If they waited until the Nationalists were better prepared and more developed, then the same objective of getting Manchuria or reducing Japanese rights in Shanghai coykd have been achieved, possibly bloodlessly even due to natural change in power. But that woukd grant the Nationalists even greater credibility over the run away communists now wouldn't it. So such a conclusion is not acceptable for the Pro-CCP posters.

Try getting off the Black-and-White-only state of mind.

You are running around some incredible mental gymnastics trying to pin the blame on China when Japan was literally occupying a huge swathe of Chinese territory from Manchuria to Taiwan.

Go to fucking hell. Seriously.

Formosa, no sympathy at all.

Manchurua, I wouldn't blame the Chinese for wanting to get that back. But I find little to blame the Japanese for taking it so as to keep it out if SU influence. When the Fangtian clique was doing well, Japan generally backed them because they were a beneficial buffer between Korea and the SU. Japan was quite pissed when the Fangtian Clique collapsed actually.

Again, there you go just completely minimizing Japanese imperialism and colonialism. If the Soviet Union had taken Manchuria, then China would be fully justified in fighting them to regain that territory. For you to try to somehow shift the blame to China is absurd.

Japan initiated a war of aggression against China that started in Manchuria and spilled into the rest of China without a doubt throughout the 30s. There is zero doubt that Japan was the aggressor. To even try to find justification for it or find some cowardly way to shift blame is despicable.

As usually, I'll have to leave it to the readers.

Thank you for yet another discussion that makes me confident in my conclusions.

Did you know that is the 29th Kuomintang army exchanged fire with the Japanese army in the Marco Polo Bridge Incident? What does this have to do with the CCP?

The exchange of fire was caused by keiro Qingshui, squadron leader of the eighth squadron of the third brigade of the first wing of the Japanese army, attacking the Chinese army.

Thanks again for proving everything I believe about how disingenuous and two faced the Japanese are.

What should I say about a country whose constitution was written by a foreign conquerer? Japan should first fight for the right to write their own constitution.

I really don't care about what Japan does. As long as it stays weak and neutered, each day becoming weaker and more irrelevant compared to China's rising might, is enough to satisfy me.

Why are you try to convince a weeaboo? You can't convince them until their shipment of body pillows is gone due to China lol

The point is not that Chinese in 2010s live better than Indians in 2010s. That is self evident. It is that Chinese even in the Mao era still lived better (slightly) than Indians in 2010s in some ways.

Mao literally brought China from a medieval society into modernity. In 1976 when he died, yes China was 2-3 decades behind the west. True. But in 1949 we were over a century behind. All of China produced less electricity than just 2 American power plants as I showed earlier. You can scarcely imagine the level of poverty before Mao.

So you might see a tyrant that made China 2-3 decades behind the west. But what me and many other Chinese see is a strong leader who pushed China ahead an entire century.
