Nice gesture, but to link it to a "repentance" for the war crimes the Imperial army committed is not right. They have never repented or apologised for the most brutal war crimes the world has ever seen.
My grandfather saw the horror for himself, when he saw service (British Indian army) in the Far East to defeat them.

When will Britain repent for Imperial Britain's crimes or France or the US? It seems only those who lose wars have to repent? (Generally speaking those who lose wars are NOT the most barbaric...)

The UK has let in a massive amount of migrants (from the commonwealth), and continues to give aid in the billions to ex colonies. Yes the government should also issue an apology, it will go a long way.

Yes he did, many were executed as prisoners of war for the crimes they committed e.g. starving soldiers from the commonwealth to death, rape of civilians etc. In fact not even a 1/8 of the original army made it back home.

He was, and thank you for your kind words. He greatly loved China and wished to go but never got the chance, he was immensely fond of the growing friendship between Pakistan and China . He passed in 1994.

You are right that the British and French and Americans are bad but in terms of brutality the Japanese were on another level. 2 nukes were not enough in my opinion.

In the end we all have to pay our karma and balance the scales. Those war criminal fcukers from Japan and the west are not in a better place but suffering in a hell they put themselves in

Errr don't see how this is about Japanese repentance for their atrocities across Asia Pacific during WW2.

They have never apologize nor acknowledged their war crimes, their school textbook is whitewashed with how they invaded many countries in APAC region to liberate them from Western Colonization. They came for resources to fuel their war machines.
