What's new

Jadhav’s conviction at ICJ, Indian MEA's declining a handshake...stooping low.

First impression is the last impression which you have failed to get.

Kis mou se argument kro gy? When you previously failed to satisfy the judges.

Suggestion for you don't argue if don't know the legal terms.

Well that sounds competent enough or even more than the judges in the ICJ. LOL :disagree::disagree::disagree:

You know what I am laughing at this time when talking with indians. It seems you don't the background of this case, perhaps only know what indians feeded you about the case.

The fact that almost all international Human Right organizations and forums had expressed their reservations against the opaque Pakistani Military courts won't go unnoticed by the ICJ panel, and if they happen to miss that, there are experts out their to remind them about the same. ;)

Okay Mr. Insider and know everything. Keep laughing, at least that way you'd be fine, but keep no hopes from the case.

Lol in which code of conduct ICJ can point the finger of any country's sovereignty ?

Now forgod sake don't make me laugh. It's already enough I can't laugh anymore.

India case at ICJ is more symbolic than anything actually on ground. If ever the ICJ pronounces a verdict in our favor, it doesn't have the executive powers to force Pakistan to release KY and India know that better than anyone else.

But we still want to prove our point before the world. To prove that being a signatory, someone don't care about any international courts, it will help set a preceded. Now you can laugh how much you want, after-all its free.

Let's see either ICJ reacts on merits or reacts on indian's wishes, if it react on behalf of indian unwarranted wishes then it can damage the credibility of superior court of the world.

Namaste is the best friendly and diplomatic gesture a symbol of respect as per the culture of Indian subcontinent. What is wrong with that ??? :o::o::o:
Nothing wrong with the Namaste, what was rude and crass was refusing the handshake - both can be done.

I dare you to say that when a Muslim women refuses to shake hands with a male counterpart because of her religious obligations. Then you'll jump in first to defend her honor and justify it with all the bullshit on the world. There's always two sides of a coin.
Why do Indians have to stoop to lowest of the low in such intl' forums, in full media glare just to appease their hardliners and extremists and win political mileage, some basic courtesy and decent gesture would have been welcome...

This is lowbrow and lowlife...by India.

. . .
I don’t know what the etiquette or protocol is at the ICJ. But even if what you say is true, my point stands.

Your point stands only if contact between litigating sides is not considered a breach of etiquette.

THE HAGUE: Deepak Mittal, a joint secretary in India’s ministry of external affairs, avoids shaking hands with Pakistan’s Attorney General Anwar Mansoor Khan and responds to the greeting by clasping his hands prior to the hearing of the case at the International Court of Justice on Monday.—AFP

India’s envoy to the Netherlands Venu Rajamonyon, too, refused to greet Pakistani officials in kind. However, this came as no shock to the Pakistani officials who had witnessed the same withdrawn and curt demeanour by the Indians at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in May 2017.

According to Geeta Mohan, Foreign Affairs Editor at India Today, India is angry, and this sets the mood. Till late Sunday evening, the Indian officials were eager to reach out to their Pakistani counterparts to ensure no overlapping of logistics or shared hotel accommodation for the two delegations; offering to relocate in case the Pakistani delegation had already set camp in the hotel of choice. Keep in mind, this is the first official confrontation between the two countries post-Pulwama attack, albeit in robes, lawyer versus lawyer.

To be fair and honest, the Pakistani official is in the wrong here and looks like a complete undignified idiot. india is an enemy state which calls for the death and destruction of the Pakistani race and nation. ALL indians have a raging fanatical hatred of Pakistan and Pakistanis. Hence we should ALWAYS treat ALL indians as enemies. Shaking the hand of an indian or being civil to them is tantamount to treason. The Pakistani official needs his head examined.
