The use is these guys will still be punished, does it matter if in India or Italy? India will impose the sentence the Italians will house them. Actually saves Indian taxpayers the expense of locking them up.



If they are found guilty that is, we should all now shut up and allow the Indian judiciary to do its work and let these guys be found guilty of innocent before passing our own judgement.

Italy lost both its face and diplomatic credibility as well as earned a bad relationship with India.it'll have a long lasting effect on our relationship with Italy.plus,Indian justice system must have to learn that Gandhian treatment is obsolete in International arena.we lost quite some guys and companies(criminals i must say) accused of high profile cases due to this lack of sincerity.quattrochi,Union Carbide,Purulia Arms drop case,French spy case and now Italian Marines---the list is quite big..

It's not just that. Italian govt may have made life difficult to their own marines due to their initial arrogant move. Everyone knows that judicial process in India takes time & these marines may not get anymore chance to go back to Italy whenever it suits them till the court process is completely settled.
