Israel mocks Assad's Syria will be left with Alawi stan

Israeli's are people who are high on power and are greatly arrogant. To a point where it's starting to reach dangerous levels. They mock every country in the region, constantly make provocative statements. Make a mockery of conflict. As if it is a funny matter. They need a blow to the face to wake them back into reality and start behaving like normal human beings again.

No way man. If Israel makes a move on Syria, Iraq and Iran and Lebanon would get involved. Sadr's Mahdi Army is nothing to joke about.

Iraq can't do anything, neither could Lebanon, and Iran won't do anything. Israel won't get involved in Syria, it recognizes that years lie ahead, years of Turkish/Iranian/Arab investment into Syria that is costly financially and in terms of human lives and realizes it will become an even worse quagmire. The Middle East is need of great leadership. It lacks leadership, all it has is small groups who hold unprovoked grudges against other movements. Groups that think life consists of handing out flour bags while developing small, poorly trained, poorly equipped military force.

The people in the ME seriously have low standards, they suck at what they're trying to achieve. Maybe because they live in a different world, but the way we Western Muslims look at it, they lack in so many ways. They are behind, they need Western educated Muslims to develop their society. This wouldn't be a problem if the if the laid governments in region sought to develop the rest of the people in the region instead of resort to corruption.

I've yet to see a just and honest leader in the ME. Which is pathetic as Islam is supposed to produce such leaders. Instead all there is are people working for their organization's interest or for natural resources under guises of 'nationalist' causes or religion.

Actually all the minorities are with him apart from the majority of the Syrian sunnis, this tells you a lot :). However I do believe that Assad will eventually fall...the odds are just too great.

It is sufficient to say that the majority of Syrians have made their choice...

can Assad turn this war of invaders around?? he needs high tech weaponry. only Russia can help them.

Zionists will face the same threat soon not from Hamas or Hezbollah but by it's own creations

one hates to admit it, but a severely truncated state with Mr. Assad as a ruler, is a strong possibility. It could be a secular state as well.

Kurds and many syrian sunni arab factions will rule the rest.

With no access to the coast, the east would not survive. Plus, Homs, Hama, Damascus, Aleppo, Daraa, Deir es Zor, Hasakah, all these places are Baath strongholds or have large Alawite and Christian populations. I don't see Assad giving up any of these places.

Nope. Druze have now became neutral and want to stay out. Christians are split. Only majority of shiites and Alawites are in his favor, and even then lots of them now have resentment over the amount of their deaths.

All of those places you stated do NOT have large Alawite populations, and all are anti-ba'ath. Especially Homs, Hama, and Aleppo.

What Assad could do is strengthen the western defenses. Sooner or later, Kurds, Islamic Front, Nusra, ISIS, FSA, whatever, they would fight each other for the east, and the east would be a crap hole like Libya and Yemen.

Syrian TV - Normal life restored to Daraa despite terrorist attacks

BTW, Dr. Thrax, might I ask, is your family in Aleppo pro or anti government?
All of my family anti-government, in all parts of the country (Damascus and Aleppo.)
We only know of 1-2 Shabihs in real life who are Sunni. Otherwise all of my immediate family and vast majority of extended family are anti-government. It's not like it's a rarely-held view, view held by most people.

:o: Why haven't they left Syria? What if Airforce Intelligence finds your posts on PDF and goes after your family? Methinks it is dangerous.

AIF are too stupid for that.
They only know how to torture and how to bribe people into giving away info.
Some of them are working on leaving, but they can't just travel through regime territory into rebel held territory. Regime would shoot them if they try to cross into rebel-held territory (which they will have to do if they go into Turkey or Jordan.) If they try to go through Lebanon Hezbollah and Lebanese government will harass them and possibly kick them back over here.
