ISPR: Economy is doing great! Pakistan Zindabad!

You can call them scum all you like, Oscar, but Pakistan's economy will continue to fail until such time as we considerably improve local production and reduce our imports. There is no other way out. No amount of international bailouts can run Pakistan. The economy needs to produce and earn what it consumes.
I agree the economy isn’t going anywhere soon and its going to get much worse before it gets any better.

I refer to consistent negative input, consistent naysaying without adding anything to the discussion.

There are many who would rather see Pakistan fail than see IK and PTI succeed.
Make of that what you will.

Nope, some here actually find glee when Pakistan fails out of their own failure in Pakistan and having to run away.

Others have ethnofascist leaders they would rather worship.

So Ill stand by my grouping them as Scum.

Meesna is the word for such beings.

PMIK and PTI will fail or succeed based on the actual results they deliver and not on mere deceptive rhetoric, which can work only so far and no more.

.
Misleading rhetoric is always easier to spout off than actual results.

Addressing the foundational weaknesses that have built up over decades in the economy will also take decades to fix.
If the people capable of fixing it are given free rein by the establishment, the economy can be jump started within a decade. You start by targeting the biggest imports, automobiles, fossil fuels, machinery, etcetera, by launching programs for the research and development of their domestic substitutes, which should then begin to wean the economy off imports by the end of the decade.

Awwww, I am so touched by your kind concern and wishes for my future. :D
Its not a concern its fact

there are consecration camp at the border where people are dying no matter how much the right wing denies it

Now what do you think about the reasons to be optimistic about the Pakistani economy, to stay on topic here?

as far as Pakistan is concerned we are Screwed for the foreseeable future

Our geography our biggest curse

surrounded by enemies so our defense budget will always take first priority

even if Imran gets our economy going it wont be more 3 to 4 percent if that

Even if economy grows by 9% which i doubt it will but it s what we need the situation on the ground for the average Pakistani will barely improve

Pakistani society is riddled with corruption every part of it, me and my family run a small business so i know

The infrastructure for everything is crap

We are a country of 200 million people with not alot of resources and thing are getting worse due to climate change slowing world economy and changing world geopolitical world climate

Worse part of it we are getting more and more extremist you can tell it by this forum dont seem to learn for the past trying the same thing over and over again expecting different result

Even if something magical happens the situation in Pakistan for the average Pakistani would take decades to improve

Why are you so negative about everything ? you know sometimes you act like the old man Mastan khan who just have negativity in his posts about Pakistan and anything Pakistan related ? is there anything you see Positive in Pakistan ?
Don't take it as an insult just an honest observation .

Really? Do you even know what happens in "consecration camps"? :D

Consecration is the solemn dedication to a special purpose or service, usually religious. The word consecration literally means "association with the sacred". Persons, places, or things can be consecrated, and the term is used in various ways by different groups. The origin of the word comes from the Latin stem consecrat, which means dedicated, devoted, and sacred.[1] A synonym for to consecrate is to sanctify; a distinct antonym is to desecrate.

So there is still hope for the future, you mean to say? Yeah, we all believe you, specially me. :D

Yes, and I think that is exactly what this present government is trying to implement. At least their heart is in the right place, if not their mind, but the results will reveal soon just how successful they will be in this effort.

But none of this means believing lies and false hopes promoted by sycophants and toadies who have no substance to counter-arguments except personal attacks and abuse of authority. We must judge actual results with eyes wide open, and not mere rhetoric with prescribed blinkers.

If the economy does well, and there is no better Democratic candidate, I will probably vote for him myself. (I am a registered Republican.) :D

What makes you say they are planning to develop the local industry? That would require the development of a machine industry, which I haven't heard anyone talk about.

The basics already exist in a rudimentary form. It is only a matter of proper support to initiate progress.
