What's new

Is there a ban on Azaan (prayer call) in effect ?

I can see that intense disdain for anything related to Islam.

So the continuous ringing of big temple bells and drums by every new visitor doesn't cause any nuisance to secular neighborhood but a scheduled humanly voice for a short span of time does - - - - - - - -.
Temple bells? Bruh, I could hear Azaan from a mile, I could hear a temple bell ringing if I come close to a temple complex and we don't play drums whenever we go to a temple. I understand Pakistan is not a diverse nation in terms of religion so, it's okay.

Hee, hee, hee......too many Bollywood films. Have you seen the one where the heroine turns into a snake and 'gets' all her tormentors?

Sir,
you are ignoring or do not know the diversity of hiduism here.....it depends on the Temple and type of God/Goddess worshiped. Bells, Drums, Tassa , high pitched screams etc are part of the prayers.....

Yeah? I'm not talking about the diversity of temples here.

nothing could be possible without retrieving data from dead lover's eyes.....technology man...

Yeah? I'm not talking about the diversity of temples here.
but noise / sounds coming out of place of worship is under discussion....right?

Which I have already explained.

Chatur better explanation would be if you can show pre and post Azan restriction noise levels.

I would like to see how a prayer typically 1 to 2 mins long and 5 times a day once banned change the pollution level

Its an eye opener to witness the amount of hatred these radical rss nazis have for Muslims

They are not radicalized Hindus.... They are normal Hindus.... All Hindus have declared a war against Islam and Our Prophet. It's time for all Muslims from the world to unite and fight the Hindu Fundamentalist.

you did not, especially keeping in mind your smarty pants comment " Pakistan is not a diverse nation in terms of religion".

lets do thali, ghanti and tali day, indoors and out doors , might help you to understand.
:lol:Quite ironical after you say there is no common practice and I don't do these. You Pakistanis have no clue, which again reaffirms my point that you are not a diverse nation in religion.

No one, regardless of faith, should be allowed to use loudspeakers in public.
But I don't think any such law has been passed, as of now. It will take at least another 10 years.

I agree with that. People that go to a mosque for prayer, do not need a reminder over a loudspeaker.

No azaan ban, only congregations, the mauzzin in our vicinity regularly reminds the faithfull to thank the Lord for his bounty.

Incidentally, I haven't heard the azaan call here, from the Dargah or from the two mosques nearby. Just realised after reading this thread, and it is an uncomfortable feeling.

India is a complex society where there are religious sounds from various religious communities. Please read this discussion ( that post and onwards till the thread's end ) between me and @Gadkari from a few days ago where I have made a few suggestions on this topic.

We need to understand the deep ViolenceAddiction of the Indians

Is Pakistan a gentle and Progressed society where it is common to see cats happily playing among the flowers and trees ??

May I humbly point to the existing practice in Pakistan of some people owning AK-47s and firing them at weddings ?? :)

The AK-47 here is a projection of a latent or overt desire to dominate violently.

And there have been other things in Pakistan like the lynching of Mashal Khan. What was that ??

Don't bother, @Mangus Ortus Novem doesn't dein to respond to all but a select few. It's a one way street for discussions regarding Indians as far as he's concerned.

its ironic that that you based your opinion for the whole Hinuism upon your peronal practices. it shows your inability to understanding of India / Hinduism and other nations....if you do not do something or do not know something, if does not mean that its not there.....now it reaffirms that you have no clue what you are talking about and you are cooking up stories just by sitting alone and watching and listening to yourself.

I hope he replies, if only for the fact that PDF is open for reading not only for members but also for anyone, and so he should improve the image of Pakistan by replying sensibly to what I thought was a sensible post of mine.

I'm simply talking about the issue of using loudspeakers. If you cant understand one simple point, then stop wasting my time.
