If Pakistan collapses, what makes you think we won't send in our army to secure some key strategic interests including a trade route to CAR?

Owing to the position it will become hotbead because you have Russians, Chinese and the west in the vicinity. So chinese and indians would like to have it. russians and americans will like to have it to contain one another.

In that case each all of these powers will have to reach a compromise solution each taking some part of the territory or the other.

See how things will change would be as there will more radicalization like say for a instant talibs take over. the radicalization would result in more people getting paranoid with the non muslims creating more pressure on our borders. we share a long border with pakistan and we will end up like same talib prob as right now we have in pakistan. because this was what pakistan had thought when they nurtured talibs. that how is it going to impact them.

I can't understand how the bolded stuff will happen. The case of Afghanistan-Pakistan border is different because of the terrain. Our IB (not LoC) with Pakistan is well fenced and also the terrain is plain ground and hence it won't be very difficult for us to prevent people from crossing over, you know.

That's a non-issue. We have both the men and the resources to spare for that job. We are the world's second largest army after all and with US on our side, it won't be too difficult a job.

well that would be very hard to reach consensus. like for example india would be looking for P0K where as china will also like the same because for both it is corridor to central asia.
