Sorry to rain on the party Bhartis but Pakistan isn't collapsing anytime soon. We have gone through much more tough times in the past but have always held our heads high and this time isn't any different.

are no one is saying pakistan is collapsing just discussing a hypothetical scenario....

letting pakistan collapse an option?? no way. ask pakistanis. they will tell you what happened when afghan collapsed under soviet occupation. all the refugees poured in numbers to pakistan & now we see the mayhem. even if they are not soley responsible, atleast they do have a part to play in the current situation.
in any part of the world instability splills over the border & does have an impact on the well being of neigbouring countries.

Oh bhai mere! You don't understand. The terrain and lack of proper fencing between Afghanistan and Pakistan allowed those refugees to pour.

There's no such issue on the India-Pakistan IB. The terrain is a plain ground and the border is fenced.

Where will they come from? Moreover, it'll be our policy to maintain refugee camps inside Pakistan itself rather than inside India.

It will be better if we not talked about history as, you know, how history is distorted in our countries when it comes to India-Pakistan wars. Let's just talk on the basis of current capabilities, shall we?

So what? We can take care of it and neutralise the threat.

Don't know what distortion you are talking about in relation to these incidents, you can consult your own military historians and media for this fact.

Why Pakistan lost Akhnur

As for neutralising the threats, imaginary plans like the Cold Start will help a lot, not to mention the fast deployment.

Cold start is needed against regular armies like the PA or PLA, not against guriellas.

Moreover, cold start is not yet fully operational as we have not met the necessary operational requirements yet, to be honest.

You don't kill a fly with a sword, do you?

mere bhai.. no matter how strong is your border.. refugees will still find their way in. what do you think.. most of the refugees settled all over europe entered legally?? people will find a way to jump over the fence or jump off from back of the lorry. this happens everywhere. US has one of the strong border control systems, still mexicans find their way thru on daily basis!! chinese have a strong border force, still north koreans jump over.
what the hell.. so does india.. still u find bangladeshis crossing over!!

We shall see, it's a hypothetical situation, if it's occurs, only then we can assess what happens.

No point in wasting time and energy over this.

If Pakistan does collapse how in blue hell is NATO going to resupply its soldiers in Afghanistan. The NDN cannot cope with such demand instantly because russians still do not allow armaments to go through their territory. If Pakistan collapses the Afghan mission will fail at the same time.

Even if a few of them do manage to cross over, don't forget that we did manage Bangladeshi refugees in 1971 pretty well.

well US will secure their supplies in the first place as this incident happens with Indian,Chinese support in return for the safe passage to the central asia if I am not wrong.

It will be much easier in fact, as then they will be able to send in their armies to protect their supply lines, something they can't do today.
