Is It Too Late To Build A 'Haseen' Relationship Between India And Pakistan

Where is development of ur country, family ,holistic progress etc etc whatever u are bragging? Infanticide,?highest dowry killings, higest rapes, torn moral fabric of society, highest dowry killings. Skewed demographics, shrinking female population etc.
Be informed that I can give you a statistical comparison that will show you that India is better in each and every one of these parameters. What more, I can give you comparative facts and figures which will make Pakistan look like it just came out of stone age, things that will make your hair curl. Then again, did I ever tell you to worry about my country ? That's my prerogative. Do I ask you why your country is still unable to design your own moped engine, while India manufactures own railway engines ? No.. thats your prerogative. So, keep your concern to yourself..

68 years of independence, India reached Mars and all you can think about is reaching into India.

Col purohit came from where.
The same place where he got convicted for his crimes. Can you say the same about Masood Azhar ? IC-814 hijacking ?

If kasab was truly pakistani why despite many requests by pakistani officials to meet him in indian authorities presence were rejected. You cannot expect no cross questioning of criminal by pakistanis or any nation who were accused in such high profile case.
This is indias lameness ,she stages attacks then fails to protect herslf ,acts unprofessional, doesnt allow witness kasab to be interviewd by pakistani side, then india always goes cries and wails.

And real terrorists in kashmir are your army.

Who will question ? the same people who orchestrated the attack ?

This is an interesting write-up... in my view... nearly 3 generations have passed on after Partition.. you don't expect current generation of Pakistanis and Indians to have same kind of warmth and love towards each other... given the kind of brainwashing that has happened on both sides...having a Haseen relationship is impossible... at the best there can be a neutral, mutual beneficial relationship that is full of "FAIR EXCHANGE and GIVE and TAKE" . Anything beyond this is over expectation.

To current generation of Indians Pakistan is a news item... that comes to TV screens only when a terrorist attack happens or there is a tension at the border... other then that Pakistan has no value for Indians, similarly for current generation Pakistanis... they have nothing to do with India till the time their media starts crying India is an enemy...

In short both countries cant change their geography, so it would be a good idea to work towards making lives of their own people comfortable... Everything else is just nonsense.

Like I said earlier opportunities were gone for good.Last chances was MMS rule.

Now noone interested for a relation with Pakistan.Pakistan dont have anything good to offer us.

. . .
The best relation is
Both the people of both country's mind their own business and keep the f**k of each others territory
The pre-partition generation is "gone" or "going" and are taking their stories with them.
The rest is up to the military and goverment.
As a few Senior Members said
Pakistan should get her house in order , then we'll take care of these Hindus

It was launched under the assumption that locals will support, instead locals turned against those who had supposedly come to 'liberate' them. The operation was an epic failure thanks to totally wrong calculations of ZA Bhutto and Aziz.

Belief without sound reasoning and proof has no merit.

Read what this Pakistani Brigadier has to say.

Operation Gibraltar: Battle that never was
Quoting a few lines from there :

They were destined to be rudely disillusioned.

Far from rising up in arms, the local population denied any support and, in many instances handed over the infiltrators to Indian troops. An act for which they should not be held to blame in any way, since by then they were reconciled to staying within the Indian Union and Pakistan had made no preparations for such a venture

It has been acknowledged multiple times by many Pakistani high ranking military officers that Operation Gibraltar was nothing more than an infiltration attempt, or proxy war.

I am surprised to see that you are so naive an uninformed. Hate me if you have to, but do that knowing the whole truth.

This is the best and only solution.

In the past 15 years, the Pakistani society has all but forgotten India (it has forgotten Kashmir too). Indians who say that Pakistanis are obsessed with them are either outrageously misinformed or just wants to flatter themselves. Even Bollywood has gradually died in Pakistan (now mainly those movies make headline which has a Pakistani actor); it was popular in the 90s in the lower strata of the society, who didn't have much entertainment, but since the advent of shows like Lost, Prison Break, Breaking Bad and now Game of Thrones, it has largely lost its appeal here. Now even the most 'paindu' looking guy I meet watches House of Cards and whatnot.

Even when they brought a million men to the border in 2008, no Pakistani here was even slightly bothered by it and people just went on their normal business.

Most Pakistanis don't visit Indian defence or news websites and I'm sure many Indians would notice it as well; only Indian comes to Pakistani sites to tell us, 'hey, we exist too!'. Why? Pakistanis simply don't find Indian affairs interesting. I maybe interested in a Delhite, but these Keralites and 'Nairs' are as alien to me as someone from Uganda.

As for the lady who wrote the piece in OP, no we don't want a 'haseen' relationship; just normal, indifferent relations would suffice.

Our relationship with them is that of a mortal enemy.
