Is It Too Late To Build A 'Haseen' Relationship Between India And Pakistan

You are secure good for you enjoy this time because no body knows when it change
Not going to happen you should know your government only blaming india not securing itself even after school terrorist attack why dont Pakistan people protest against it

.
As long as ppl like @Atanz assume that Indians inherently hate Pakistanis, till then the fractious relationship between India and Pakistan would continue.
And to the question "is too late to build a relationship between India and Pakistan ??" , my answer would be.....

If your talking about my views about India that is not going to change. I am beyond redemption so to say. I am hardwired now. I grew up in a staunchly nationalist family. At the age of 10 the Bangladesh war broke out in 1971 and every day I came home from school I saw my dad and his friends gathered around the TV and watching news about the war. The young me soaked all that combative atmosphere up. I won't even bother going into 1948 and everything. So I have been at war since 1971.

Change is inevitable through rejuvenation as the old is shed and new takes it's place. So your going to have to wait for a generational change. However if you mean "if it is never too late" at a personal level. No problem I will extend my hand of peace to you.

You're stubborn!

If you've seen '71 then I 've seen the kargil war.
Being from an army background, i loathed your government and army (but not your ppl). I do 've Pakistani friends in my real life and on the forum too. On the other hand, you maintain a distance from Indians because you assume Indians hate Pakistanis. I've seen you getting raucous and resorting to name calling without provocation, and I think you over-react. Ppl like you should be building a bridge between the Indian and Pakistani members on this forum but instead you 've decided to burn it down...or so I feel.

I can not be friends with someone who doesn't respect my country and countrymen (and who is allergic to the word Dravidan Lol).

Maybe not the right word. I am not ambigious in my position.

Well destiny took me some where else but in another life I would have loved to join that army you loath. I think I would have made darn good officer and maybe by now made it to Lt.General. Hey I could have been planning another Kargil. Never mind. I am left with being a keyboard General.

That's the way it is. I cannot change my position and never will. You however change your mind give me a shout and I will let you into my little world. Until then ciao !

I see you registered at Historum. Good for you.

Did you mean ambiguous?
Your stance is ambiguous because you're confused. :haha:

I respect those who're patriotic but sire you take India-Pakistan hatred to a new level, and at times I feel its intentional.
1971 happened 40 years ago and if you still continue to dislike Indians for something that happened almost half a century back then you're stuck in time. You're TTC on this forum and you should be leading by example (which you're not.)

You're very stubborn.

Not happening untill you change your "ambiguous" stance on India and about Indians.

I see you registered at Historum. Good for you.
1) I know its good for me. :)
2)I know you dont exist there any more, so I can make any number of sindhu-saraswati civilisation related posts. Lolzz
I joined that forum because some posts on that forum were an eye opener for me, and also because members and mods of that forum 're very sane.

Why is there such a compulsion to be "friends"? India is not exactly "friends" with Japan but both countries have a working relationship. When you forcibly try to make or impose relations it only ends up at disaster - both at personal and state level.

Take the case of a certain Pakistani in this forum. For no reason he starts arguing with Indians and very soon the discussion gets personal with abuses and insults hurled from both the sides. I am not saying that every Pakistani - in PDF or otherwise - is like that but that fellow represents a percentage of Pakistani society who are not comfortable being "friends" with India. If you forcibly try to make them your friend it won't work.

I hate to say this but the friendship drive for Indo-Pak "Aman ki (tam)asha" is mostly guided by north Indian sentiments. It is north India that shares a lot in common with Pakistani history, culture and heritage. Rest of India does not have any cultural or sentimental ties.

As I said in my previous post. Let India and Pakistan go their separate ways as decided in 1947. As the younger generation in both countries come up the fake and forced sentimental attachment will naturally go away.
