Relax as what they say will not happen as AL will be in power till 2029 at least.

By then BD will be a "middle-income", semi-educated and half mature country and so whoever comes into power will not be able to undo all the progress made since 2009.

Like I say they are emotional and simply talking about things they were not born to understand(i.e. lack of IQ).

Best to ignore and not engage as it only feeds them to pollute the threads here.

You may dislike India. But, people should like India because it is developing with its own manpower and engineering. Hundreds of billions of dollars worth of investment money are pouring into India, and also in Indonesia, and Vietnam.

India and Indonesia both are G-20 members. BD may join a G-200 group as it is so underdeveloped. We should not waste our time by talking ill against India just because it is a Hindu country. Indian engineers, doctors, and bureaucrats are much more efficient than ours.

We should better learn from the Indian (read Hindu) experiences they gained while the British were here and we wasted those 20 decades on prayer mats. This is what we still do instead of educating ourselves.

I will let Pakistanis be the judge of what is going on in Pakistan, that is more for them to worry about. Pakistan and Bangladesh have been separate countries for fifty years now.

However Indian chamcha-giri right now is doing irreparable harm to Bangladesh economy. Right now. And for the last fifty years. We are solely supporting India's development and certainly not ours.

Being Indian chamchas, we will never grow our own industrial capability. We will always be importing basic stuff like nuts/bolts, even "pereks" (nails). Just because they are cheaper in a larger economy like India.

A protected independent economy with protective tariff support is what we need when we are in an economic growth trajectory.

I honestly don't care who is in power, if they can pursue independence in foreign (and especially economic) policy and not halt the economic progress, as we are currently the economic leader in South Asia.

I don't think AL being the bunch of incompetent cadre goonda leaders they are (judging by their immature/comical statements), are capable of carrying us further up the economic ladder. They must do a purge and bring in capable, educated technocrats to run the country properly.

Or we should vote for another party who can offer this stability/growth capability.

You yourself have touted BD HDI, life expectancy, BD GDP pp - all better than India. Now you say it was all to India's benefit?? At some point hatred must be backed with logic too.

And talking about nails, nuts and bolt manufacture - we would need to import raw materials. The cost vs benefit doesn't make sense when India or China sells it dirt cheap - again you want BD to cut its own nose to prove what? That we don't have to buy from India??

Saying Pakistan and BD have been separate for 50 years is like saying BD and India have been separate for 65 years - doesn't mean the story is over.

BNP provided direct access to arms and intelligence from Pakistan - so a Bangladeshi has the right to discuss the Pakistani ideology.

This myth about BD intellectuals is another joke. Everyone is a technocrat in opposition but when they get power suddenly they are incompetent. And educated doesn't mean honest - don't assume a professor or an internet blogger is some kind of Messiah.

All BD needs is stability and that's why I think the status quo should remain as long as possible.
