Yes, it is a weakness, dramatically rising the danger of detection by the human eye! But my personal experience is it happens only when they fly at low speed especially in landing, take off & no need to say in Parade occasions.

It was an advanced jet trainer aircraft. It sounds to have some Russian technology support especially from Mikoyan. I do not exactly know what happened to that project. Melika may provide us more information about his/her :) claim of abortion.

Mig 29 M does not have black smoke

Yes, it's true. The power plant of Mig 29M, RD-33MK, has 7% more power in comparison to the baseline model & In response to long time criticism, the new engines are smokeless and contain improvements that reduce its infrared visibility.

What are IRIAF Plans to replace F-1/F-4/F-7/F-5 as F-4 is atleast 34 Years old in IRAF, F-7 26 Years old and F-5 38-42 Years old And F-1 Mirages has spares-engines problems and almost nill weapons.

Should Iran NOT pursue for a single unified Fleet a common platform compatible and maintainable from point of view of engineering ground crew, OR would IRIAF be flying them until "AMCA" is certified for production would it be cost effective solution to replace estimated 72-120 [no credible information regarding numbers operational] F-1/F-4/F-7/F-5 Fleet.

A country under severe sanction would not 3-4 Types be better operational rather 7-9 Types which in itself is costly and hassle.

Any Iranian member with good information and if any good sources as to what Iran is planning regarding phasing out and introducing AFAIK, Iran is developing couple of platforms explaining that they would not be fully introduced as these are examples and tests pre their 4.5/5 Gen [reference HESA Saeqeh 20-24 numbers, HESA Azarakhsh 11 numbers]

Personally I wouldn't actually replace those aircraft. I'd keep them in reserve. In the event of an aerial war, they'll make great aircraft to swarm with.

As you know developing an indigenous technology is not an easy task especially "Aviation" one. When I first heard about Indian HAL Tejas fighter program I was 16 years old boy. now I am 32 years old man! and LCA is a fighter of Indian air force. The same story is for JF17.

No one really expects from Iranian engineers to develop a F22 at a glance. We know it is a step by step road map. I accept there are some propaganda type sayings from non-expert Iranian officers, lighting our engineers works and really annoying in my way of thinking.

Let us to not forget fighters are for nations freedom, and they claim our freedom for their cutting edge technologies.

SU-25 [6-10 operational]

This is the complete picture, it seems to be a very tough job for engineering ground crew to maintain these Fleet-Numbers.

yes, it is a very tough job. I have to thanks them lot, protecting my nation from un-natural demands from west & east.
