Can saudi prevent a sunni attack towards Iraq and repeat of what happened when Iraqi army left mosul, in case that assad falls? Can saudi government promis Iraq security if Iraqis pull back from Syria?
No, KSA and every other country on the planet cannot guarantee anything as long as that does not happen within its own borders. What occurred in Iraq pre-ISIS and post-ISIS are internal matters that Iraqis have to solve and nobody else. I am not going to write a novel of who did what wrong, what the various parties should have done better from politicians (mostly useless corrupt individuals), religious personalities on both sides, tribal elders on both sides, the civil society etc.
Iraq has no presence in Syria other than Shia militias who mostly act outside of government control. KSA has no problem with those Iraqi Shia Arab militias attacking ISIS but it becomes a problem if they aid the Al-Assad regime directly and help oppress the Syrian people or try to change the demographics of Syria.
Anyway KSA and Iraq (under al-Abadi who is nothing like the fool Al-Maliki who mostly caused the mess in Iraq) have renewed their brotherly and sisterly ties again and the ties are healthy and well nowadays and many joint projects have been signed.
Iraq knows that without the participation of the GCC Iraq will not be rebuilt nor will many of the political problems be solved. KSA has already promised to help rebuilt most of the Iraqi Sunni Arab areas that have been destroyed if a few conditions are met most of which are almost finalized as per my information.
No they are one sect and they are salafist you can't even find sunni non salafi as jihadist.
Total nonsense. Some Iraqi Shia Arab Mullah's openly talk about Jihad and so do tons of other Shia clerics from across the world and even entire regimes (Iranian Mullah's).
While we two speak 1000's upon 1000's of Shia Jihadis (from Afghanistan alone and mostly Mongol-looking based on the corpses that I see around of them - must be useful fertilizer) are fighting a "holy war" in Syria.
What are they doing their if not fighting a "holy war" (in their eyes) and defending some imaginary shrines? Do you think that their main motive is their love for a Ba'athi Arab Alawite dictator? In particular for the non-Arab Shia such as Iranians, Afghans, Pakistanis etc.
Who are you kidding my brother?
