Not just a lot but all of the troubles facing the Arab world is caused by the regimes -- foreign interference is just a by product for allowing it to happen. Sadly the Arab world is to fractured to unite and I don't see it happening in the next 100 years.
I don't engage with Arabized anti-Arabs.
Arab regimes should not be confused with 550 million Arabs who are tied by blood, ancient history, geography, civilization, culture, language, customs, tribal/clan affiliates, cuisine, music, intermarriages and everything that you can think about.
There are many Arab regimes which have excellent ties with other Arab regimes as well and the strongest economic and political bloc in the Muslim world and world even, outside of the EU, exists in the Arab world (GCC). So yes, it is possible even with the current regimes to correct past ills and that will eventually occur as well.
Saddam and Nasser were both treating the problems with bedouian and cowboy wild west mentality who didn't know anything about diplomacy and both of them we still suffer from their stupidty and pride to this day. all the countries that Nasser interfaired in like Libya, Iraq and Yemen still suffer from him calling to overthrow the monarchies and his defeat against Israel and losses in Yemen which destroyed the Egyptian economy which Egypt and many countries still suffer from his actions and we still suffer from Saddam invasion of Kuwait to this day.
The dog Nasser is reponsible for Saddam by encouring the overthrow of the monarchy and then later conspired against Qassim.
Qassim the idiot also was one of the reasons why Iraq in mess by overthrowing the monarchy and was soft and brought the scumbag Tarazani from his soviet exile to Iraq which have been a dagger on Iraq side ever since.
Uneducated people with no experience of governing, should not gain power, they always mess it up regardless where it occurs. Human history is a testament of that. Most revolutions actually end in failure.
