SH-1 is a long range guided arty system(uses rockets)... while the iranian system is just a reverse engineered Korean KH-179 155mm gun on a truck.

U cant compare it with SH-1....

P.S=We have 90 of these(sh-1) on order.

The weapons US posses can auto load and multiple units can coordinate targeting a zone via advance electronics and radars

These , manual loading things are obsolete -

Its like taking a sword when other guy has a machine gun he shoots 100 shots at you while you can only shot 2 rounds/ minute

why order 90 ? Pakistan should do reverse engineering which is more cost saving. I am amazed Iran has so many resources availables, Pakistan doesn't have it.

USA was developing Crusader 155mm Self Propelled Howitzer. It got cancelled, because it was to costly per unit..

USA today uses the M109A6 "Paladin"..

It will be replaced by M109 PIM.

Source would be you, you posted the images from Abu Dhabi defence expo. That was NORINCO's 155mm self propelled howitzer. And NORINCO is a Chinese company isn't it?

No, these are modern.. Swedish Archer was designed in the mid 90s. Sweden and Norway uses it already, and Indian and Canadian army are evaluating it.

SH-I is a new thing... it has 55+ km range n uses precision guided munition!!!

The SH1 is fitted with a computerized fire control system, navigation, positioning and targeting systems. Vehicle receives target information from artillery command vehicle
Secondary armament consists of a 12.7-mm machine gun, mounted on top of the roof.

Vehicle has a crew of five. An armored driving cab provides protection against small arms fire and artillery shell splinters.

The SH1 artillery system uses 6x6 truck chassis. Vehicle can be airlifted by most medium transport aircraft.

A complete SH-1 regiment comprises 24 truck-mounted howitzers, four battery command post vehicles, one battalion command post vehicle, one meteorological radar, four 6x6 wheeled reconnaissance vehicles and one artillery locating radar.

No i didnt...... i know wat a BMP looks like nd my father is a gunner... his units have the M109A5 SPG.
