No bother. Actually Urdu is my mother tongue :)

My grand-dad migrated from Delhi (originally from Agra) and my grandmother was from Ajmer, Rajasthan.

If I remember correctly, the British didn't really build a lot of infrastructure and industry in what today constitutes Pakistan, compared to what today constitutes India. The overwhelming majority of the infrastructural and industrial development Pakistan has today ocurred after Independence.

So yes, Pakistan is much better off being independent, given the lack of development in Pakistan under British rule.

You owe them the one of world's best canal system.

yes they were doing better job and built railroads and schools.. your country went downhill after independence and we all know why

Are you for real man ??Why don't you ask China to invade the country , they will give you still the better living standard.

Third generation Pakistani Brit , ahem ahem ,means you are actually Brit but still no love lost for Pakistan ?? But it might be personal but still you should use Union jack's flag as your country's flag. On other hand Bobby Jindal , the governor of Louisiana, US just disowns Indian lineage.

You should also pass on the message to millions of Indian Americans, British Indians, Australian Indians, Canadian Indians and so forth. Why haven't they lost the love of India from their hearts? It was on this very forum that so many Indian posters were ecstatic when Nardiner Modi came to visit the US, and was met by thousands of mainly Indian Americans.....It's ok for some but not for others?
As for the flag issue, my first flag is British, the second signifies my love for the land of my ancestors, just like British Irish folk who love Ireland. I hope that clears up any confusion.

Do you read Urdu?

Yes.

I didn't mean any offence, it may be absolutely normal. I just don't know but Jindal just hate being called Indian-American.

Whatever makes you happy mate...atleast Indian tourists don't get asked awkward questions when they say they are from India. Perception matters, and we have been losing the world's respect for decades now. Delusions will only take us so far.
neither do pakistani tourists... idk wtf your talking about....maybe its just you who gets asked.

Life is not all that bad in Pakistan's cantonment areas and the gated communities in Lahore and Islamabad. These places have excellent amenities and are really not that places to live. This allows a relative minority of Pakistani elite to be totally cut-off from the reality of the rest of their country. That's how many of them continue to harbour the delusion that living conditions in Pakistan are "not all that bad." Some of our more enlightened intellectuals keep telling us otherwise - people like Hassan Nisar, Najam Sethi, Asma Jahangir etc. But, you know the thing with ostriches, don't you?
those people you mentioned along with their supporters deserved to be lined up and shot and then feed their corpses to dogs.... every traitor to pakistan is a hero for you.... shows the piece of shit your really are.

If you think you were better off under Brits then indirectly you are hurting the sentiments of Indians who admire those who lost their lives for our better future. That on 15'th August. Yes I know it's 16'th but still 15'th is quite fresh.
