Never said Iran was wrong. Just stating the fact that Iran is concerned that they had to send such a message like that in the first place as you mentioned about the history between the Arabs and the Persians. You said the Arabs won't support an attack, I said most likely they will as they have for Iraq.

So that means invading Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Yemen, Oman, UAE, Afghanistan, etc. If you want to prevent possible attacks you have to invade those countries from being attacked more. Something the Japanese regret not doing when attacking Pearl Harbor. They didn't occupy it.

Oh and also blockading the seas for many years as well, something the Japanese also forgot to do.

Several Arab countries already said they wont allow US to use their territory to attack Iran, and the message this topic is about is for the rest, so they would think twice about helping US in a potential war. Fair warning, if you wish.

If war happens and certain countries do help US, then its natural to expect those countries would suffer consequences as well. It doesnt necessarily mean invasion, it could be blowing out their pipelines, oil/gas sites, etc. Maybe even include killing their leadership - because thats what Iran's attackers will try to do as well. All of these retaliation actions dont require much, 10 people here, 100 there.

If Iran would manage to win (more like outlast) the war against US, it could redirect its army to lets say PGGC hostile states. Iran was too weak to do it in '80s, but it could occupy multiple Arab countries now if it comes to this. Those know it as well, therefore I dont expect many of them helping US in a war.
