It looks to me to be a Falcon 50 aircraft (below), judging by the tail colours, the position of the horizontal stabilisers, and the prominent exhaust for the 3rd engine which the Falcon 50 uses.

As of yet we cannot be sure who this plane has carried, but rumours are that it is Brigadier General Hassan Shah-Safi, commander of the Iranian Air Force.

EDIT: This has now been confirmed

Shah-Safi visited Beijing in November last year, and met with PLAAF commander Ma Xiaotian.

Iran is currently on the look out for aircraft to replace most of its fleet. Not only is the IRIAF in desperate need of hundreds of fighter aircraft, but it's strategic and tactical transport fleet is ageing. As is the fleet of strike aircraft.

This wouldn't surprise me at all. Shah-Safi visited Beijing in November last year, and met with PLAAF commander Ma Xiaotian.

Iranian delegation is also scheduled to participate in the 11th International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition (Air Show) which is to be held at China International Aviation Exhibition Center, Zhuhai during November 1-6.

Participants are to evaluate the latest military flights techniques and present their views regarding the development of flight methods and increasing the capabilities in this field.

The programs of the event consist of military senior officials' meetings, reviewing ways to develop cooperation in military flights and discussing the ties between both sides.

One of the most important programs of this year's exhibition which is the only international aerospace trade expo in China, is showing G-20 stealth aircraft which is said to be equal to American F-22.

The 11th International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition is held every two years in China.

Iran desperately needs to update its air force, and i think Chinese fighters is a good start. Chinese aviation industry has come a long way from when Iran got the F7s.

Bro, you have one heck of an analytical skills. I would not have spotted that even if I stared at that pic for a year

I'm afraid I can't take the credit  I found the cropped photo somewhere and decided to post it here. Though I found out it was a Falcon 50 all by myself :-)
