Iranian F-14 Tomcat Escorting Russian Tu-95 Missile Carrier

A couple of days ago Russian strategic bombers targeted terrorists in Syria with Kalibr cruise missiles and other ordnance.

It is now clear that the cruise missiles were fired from Iranian air space, where these long-range bombers were escorted by Iranian fighter jets.

In this clip we see an Iranian F-4 just behind one of these bombers, while on 1:25 an Iranian F-14 is clearly escorting a Russian Tu-95MS

Iranian armed forces plenty of stuff related to 50s and 60s.
Although they are upgraded by domestic products but still they are not capable enough to compete with modern weaponry................

Still though, they are pretty obsolete. Pakistan and Iran are pretty close; if we had a better foreign policy - Pakistan would be helping Iran out. JF-17s and Al Khalids could significantly improve Iran's technological gap. Even Al Zarrar is better than anything Iran's Armoured Corps have.

Actually we do not hate them. But we do not love them not much because they have a lot of ambitions about our geography.
We have a deep history with them. So this is very hard to explain. Nowadays we have ''little'' problems.
They sometimes threating us beacuse of NATO but we are laughing of course

Kalibr cruise missiles are actually used by the Navy , Caspian fleet fired a salvo of 26 of them again today/yesterday

the Air Force uses Kh-101s , cruise missiles with range going above 3,000km

Agreed...why are they launching cruise missiles when they could simply fly overhead and drop bombs.
