Motor vehicle production is different from cars production.I think that you guys are overestimating these cars and the Iranian automotive industry in general.
In the first three months of this year Iranian vehicle imports from Turkey rose by 60% after easing of sanctions. The increase is even more in March (approximately 155 %).

The Iranian Ministry of Industry has approved the importation of vehicles manufactured by General Motors’ European subsidiary, Opel.

Iran said on Sunday that it has issued the authorization for imports of automobiles produced by the American carmaker Chevrolet.

Car imports have risen, from $184 million in 2002 to $1.5 billion in 2007.[36] In 2006, the government lowered the automotive import tariff levels to 90 percent for light weight vehicles and since then a huge influx of imported vehicles has been witnessed in the country.[26] The tariff level for import of heavy vehicles is even lower at 20 percent, due to low levels of local production and high demand. As a result, a variety of automotive brands are being presently imported into Iran including Toyota, BMW, Mercedes Benz (these three being the expensive and/or luxury brands), Rover, Ssangyong, Audi, Subaru, Volkswagen, Renault Leon, Altea variety of heavy vehicles, construction and mining equipment from leading manufacturers such as Mercedes Benz, Renault, Iveco, Mann, Kamaz, Caterpillar.[26]

Iran doesn't import any cars from Turkey. Actually if you care to do a little research you'd know that samand sold a fortune in Turkey.I think that you guys are overestimating these cars and the Iranian automotive industry in general.
