Agreed. Who cares what we were doing 2500 years ago. One should study history only to learn lessons from it, not to live in it. Sad to say most Iranians live in history instead of learning lessons from it.

You see, I even have never understood national pride nor ethnic pride. because to me pride should be reserved for something you achieve or attain on your own, not something that happens by accident of birth or something. Taking credits for something that somebody else has done isn't going to make you successful in your life. An ordinary dutch person plays a part in some dutch scientists winning Nobel prize as much as my pants does.

Iran has a bright future but you have to disinvest from mullah owned enterprises. It is hard slow and painful process. You cant just get out of oil dependency overnight and develop a vibrant private sector. But my best wishes for you.
