Iran: Three prisoners sentenced to hand amputation or lashes

.
Yes, the 11 Imams you're worshipping on daily basis DID execute people in the same way we do, so did they in extreme rubbery cases.

I'm not sure that I can believe you.

Iraq's corruption is extremely alarming bro, I hear you.

No, in serious rubbery cases, people get their hands chopped off, in both faiths Sunni and Shia.

Again, no one worships humans, and what you said about the Imams is a factual mistake, they were never in a government position to be issuing OR carrying out such punishments. The only Imam which had Authority was Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib who was the third caliph according to Sunnis and the first Imam according to Shias. He engaged in many battles and as you know people used swords back then, swords are quite sharp.

As for amputating a persons hand off, these are the rules according to Shias/ Imami/ Jaafari/ twelvers (different names, same meaning)
1-the stolen goods must be in a safe, or personal space and not out in the open. You don't get your hand cut for finding a wallet on the street and taking it, but if you break into someone's home or vehicle, only then can a punishment by pursued.
- the theft must not be out of need, if a person is stealing to feed himself or family (considering he steals only as much as he needs), the punishment is forbidden.
- The crime must not be committed as a result of threats or incitement for another group or person, otherwise the punishment is invalid
-If it's persons first theft, and he regrets his actions, the punishment is invalid. The punishment can only be carried out on a person who is know for being a theif.
- the victims have the right to forgive, and Allah promised to reward those who forgive.
-The punishments is meant as a means to stop people from commiting crime, the sole intention is not to punish.

-The major difference between Jaafari jurisdiction and other schools of thought is about where the hand get amputated from. Sunnis differ greatly, some say the wrist, some up to the elbow, and some say the entire arm. However, the Jaafari jurisdiction states that only the fingers are To be amputated, and that "Mawadhi3 Alsalah" or the places of where a person uses to pray must not be touched, that includes the palm. :).

Agree or not, these are the rules. And after seeing all the sick people who are willing to get as low as to starve orphans, I believe this punishment is fair. I am not speaking of this specific incident, but if all the rules above apply, that the suspect deserves what he is getting.

This is gross. Amputating a man's hand for adultery? This is inhuman savagery! And just because he screwed a woman who is not his wife?? So fu@kin' what? What's the big deal if it was consensual sex? He could have been given imprisonment for a couple of years instead. But this? It sucks!

where you saw Adultery in the news .
and here amputation of the hand (well technically its fingers ) is for Armed rubbery .

and by the way the sentence for adultery is death penalty if proven not cutting hands .

Does this stop adultery?

from where the adultery part come from ?

Do you always get to name calling when you are defeated in a logical argument?

Your beloved fellow countryman appears to be more determined to point his fingers on groundless accusations, and he has to be put in his rightful place.

Oh, groundless? How nice. Now that you understood you are doing it worse in your own country, it's groundless, right?
You just started a thread based on news from an Iranian terrorist group and it's all genuine, but when he answers you by posting a news from America's most popular newspaper, it's groundless? Why don't you just admit you made a mistake by opening this thread?

You don't throw stone at people when you live in a glass house.
