Anyone who does a crime, knowing its punishment in that country's laws, truly deserves it.. Whether its hand amputation or beheading..

I didn't say I would give THAT specific punishment myself. But offcourse everyone needs to get punished in the same way. This is one of the examples. they are not nobodies.

This because it was an extreme case (extreme amount of money was stolen) and harmed the system.

However million there, million here stealing, 5% from that, 5% from this, is not a problem for the elite. There have been many cases. Even Ahmadinejad spoke about it and irritated the ruling class. He got attacked by them.

This is typical for systems where ideology rules. Like in communist states, the elites live a rich life and are well fed. Look to the 3 Kims from North korea. All of them fat people.

from religious point of view as compared to punishment in after life this punishment here is nothing but if you get this punishment here you will not suffer what is stored in after life or in grave AGAIN speaking from religious point of view

Pakistan also have shriat courts also and Islamic constitution but Viceroy/ruling elite dont follow it like rest of the laws

Muslim justice of several muslim countries seems stuck at mideaval punishments, something we here in the west would like to see upgraded. For instance, a man can still commit new financial crimes with 1 hand. He can't when he's in prison (our way of dealing with these offenses).

This would actually be perfect for Iraq considering the billions of dollars lost to corruption and money laundering. I know what these people are so I wouldn't feel sorry for them one bit. When a person is ready to starve a nation in order to fill his pocket, and isn't willing to stop then he scertainly deserves this.

BTW, not trying to make it sound any less severe, but it's the fingers and not the hands that get chopped. There has to be witnesses to the theft and the theive must admit it, he can also ask for an appeal. Unless it isn't the first time caught stealing.
