Iran slams Saudi Arabia over Hajj stampede

When citizens of a country die, it is the responsibility of the country to raise an issue about. India, Pakistani, and the governments of any country that has its citizen's hurt in this incident should raise their voice.

If your countrymen died in this incident, you want your government to keep their mouth shut so not to hurt the feelings of Saudi Arabia? If Iran, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and all these countries pressure Saudi Arabia, what's going to happen? Most likely, Saudi Arabia will put in more efforts to prevent this happening in the future.

IS THAT A BAD THING???

But some of you want your government to keep their mouth shut and just say, "well, it was their own fault"!

Iran can shove it up it's back. Don't like it, don't come.

I missed the part in Quran , "Verily if you don't like how Holy King Salman is handling Mecca, we tell unto you, don't come" Which verse was that again?

Saudi Arabia is always doing its best to serve Hajis . If sometime some unfortunate things happen please don't politicize that .
May Allah Grant Jannah to the Shaheeds and Sabar to the famlies .
We are with our Saudi Arabian brothers and we trust their system.

That's why such incidents always happen with us Muslims. When something like this happens, our muslims brothers say things like, well, sometimes some unfortunate things happen. No big deal. RIP. they are Shaheed. It's God's will. God give their family sabar. Case closed, everyone back to sleep, see you next year.

I think its not correct to politicize the tragic events , and lets take moment to pray for the ones who lost their lives.

Sometimes when you have 2-3 Million people traveling same day to a particular spot thru a channel accidents happen due to so many people being present in same location at same time.

I read the news as 700 deceased muslims due to incident and 700-800 injured, there was no focus on nationality as negates the purpose of Hajj

The whole purpoase of wearing a white rob is to shed away your nationality and color and stand before your god.

Let us pray for the people to show respect that is all we can do

No system no Event in the world is 100% perfect .
After 2006 Alhamdulillah there was no incident.
Saudi Arabian Govt. is doing its best to expend the area .
Our local Hajj training programs should also focus on such problem that in case of emergency avoid Panic . Wait for the authorities and help each others. POLICE and other organizing agencies need people cooperation.
I am very sad to see that Iranians are politicizing the issue .
I can feel the pain of Shaheeds familes but we can't blame Saudi Arabian govt for it .
Look all around the world any where there is a huge gathering chances of casualties and other incidents are there. In india how many times peoples were killed due to panic .

So, how many people need to die for us to get angry and concerned?

Look at this list,
List of human stampedes - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Do you see this as something at the bottom of that list or at the very top in terms of death count?

Look at this list,
List of accidents and disasters by death toll - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Do you not see this as something important?

125 of my countrymen are DEAD for making a spiritual & holy journey! We shouldn't get upset??

I'm upset. I'm very upset. I'm upset at the security, I'm upset about the facilities, but more than being upset at KSA, I'm 100 times more upset at our Islamic mentality that in the year 2015, our people die because they throw rocks at a wall, supposed to be hitting the devil! I'm upset at every Islamic leader for not putting an end to this silliness!

1000 people died for throwing stones at the "devil"! The devil is LAUGHING AT US.

Cheap shot iran cheap shot.
The only thing cheap here is your honor and the value you give to Pakistani life. Those two are the only cheap things here.

I must confess though, I won't be shedding no tears. Those Iranians that put money in the pockets of Wahhabi Arabia by going to Saudi brought this on themselves. Karma's a bitch.

Iran has every right to voice its displeasure. infact every muslim country needs to do the same. Saudies are simply appalling in every respect when it come to Haj. Every pilgrim has to pay a hefty fees to the saudis so at the very least they should expect some duty of care from from these aholes.

I saw the saudis are trying to blame the pilgrims for this tragedy..... outragious.

It is beyond belief that people are seeking to defend the saudis. No one is saying saudis as a people are bad but rather that they are entirely incompetent and not up to the task of managing this critical gathering. there is no need to sugarcoat, the saudi authorise are directly responsible for these deaths are likely to be guilty of culpable homocide through sheer incompetence and negligence. until the whole muslim world speaks up the saudi system won't realise how poor they are.

None of us here should see this as anything beyond a health and safety issue. No politics here.... saudis crowd management and safety processes are flawed and it needs to get sorted quick.

.
It's funny how Saudi lovers are trying to justify 4 incidents and several thousands death and casualties in this year's hajj, shame on you.
---------
obviously Saudis can't handle the hajj, a joint organization of Islamic countries should take the responsibility.

Its shameful and truly disgusting to witness an outcome where Iran is more concerned in scoring cheap political points. The security guards tried their best to stop the crowd from breaching the barriers, however they were simply overwhelmed in volume. In this forum I have been very critical of the Saudi regime, however the recent crisis in the Middle East has shown that Iran is no angel either.

Allah has given it to Muslims not Al-e-Saud dictators, the source of terrorism and sectarian conflicts in the world.

Correct Allah has given Makkah and Medina to the Muslim ummah. However Iran can also be blamed for the source of terrorism and sectarian conflicts in the world. Therefore please get off your high horses and accept the reality that the Mullah's of Iran and the lunatic ideology of the Saudi clergy are from different sides of the same coin.

does that not indicate poor crowd control in the first place . people should not have been able to access the two closed ramps in the first place. There were inadequate rerouting of people and obviously not enough personnel. the whole concept of crowd management is to anticipate such basic things and take mitigating action.

I really can't see how iran is supposedly scoring cheap points, they have lost their people as have many others. only thing i can can see is saudis trying to avoid taking responsibilities. this is a health and safety issue bringing in regional politics into it rather silly

.
well pakistanis apparently are used to see their people dying , well we're not . we cannot tolerate this crap .

you know whats the funny point ? they assume this is just a sectarian issue since they think about everything from that perspective .

you cannot protest your people's death over mismanagement ? ?

yeah we're sectarian , yet it's OUR people who are dying . F you brain . F you rationality

then yours are busy everywhere . shias are suicide bombers now in syria eh ? lol

listen to yourself , i pity you

You should be careful with your loose tongue because unlike the Saudi members of this forum, we Pakistani's can also respond in kind verbally. The Iranian people have never been use to the idea of seeing their fellow countrymen dead, however this assumption is pathetic and erroneous in nature because the war against Saddam Hussein led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of troops and civilians. So you cannot tolerate such crap, then what exactly will you do?

Clearly you have made this into a sectarian issue because you brought the Shia card into the discussion, when no member in this thread mentioned it before you. How can you protest on a particular incident when the event has not been investigated properly and you are making half-baked assumptions due to your bias opinion. For your information, in this incident both Sunni's and Shia's became shaheed, therefore please spare us your victim-hood card. Before you retort back to my message read it careful and also for your kind information in advance, I personally and extremely hate the Saudi Mullah ideology and the Royal Family, however the people are obviously not included.

The Hajj pilgrim nearly every year accommodates a figure of 2 million worshipers, from all walks of life across the whole world. Logistically this scenario is a nightmare because the majority of worshipers are linguistically different from one another and most don't even understand Arab. Therefore, even though Saudi Arabia employs over 100,000 security forces to monitor and control the crowd, sometimes mistakes can be made when the crowd simply overwhelms and breaches the wall to complete their Hajj Pilgrim in time, since their is a set time period.

Iran is scoring cheap political points because before protesting against the Saudi government they should wait for the investigation to complete. Regional politics was clearly brought in by the Iranian members who were advocating the notion that Saudi Arabia should give up their role as custodians of the two Holy Sites. Iran has every right to protest on the behalf of their citizens, however let the full investigation come out first and then respond according to the results of the report.

This is not a political issue. This is a situation where a country is concerned about its citizens. I would be angry at my government if my people died in an incident like this and it kept quiet. Or said, "ooof, what did you expect, there were so many people, a few of us dying here and there is not important. God give them sabr, they are shaheeds, their death is noble and they will go to heaven, now be quiet"

.
then yours are busy everywhere . shias are suicide bombers now in syria eh ? lol

No, but there are still plenty of Shia death squads operating in both Iraq and Syria.
Lol, just because Iran's ally is a current victim of suicide bombings doesn't mean you can whitewash your history of terror, instability and screaming mullahs. This ain't one of your mullah echo chambers, kiddo. Neither is it PressTV or RT.

But the Saudi Arabian government is not keeping quiet. That's where this whole excuse to whine just collapses. They've already stuck Bin Laden Group for what happened before and they are probing into this incident. This is just the usual mad mullah droning. Don't get angry if people don't buy into your BS. Iran has a history for pushing more crap out of it's mouth than it's ***.

What's wrong with putting pressure on Saudi Arabia? If it was any other country, I'd want Iran to talk about it too. If 100 citizens died due to an accident in any country, I would expect my country to raise the issue.

The Iranian government isn't bombing KSA over this. We are just protesting. 150 of our people died, and we are angry. Is that strange for you? Has our lives become so meaningless that it doesn't seem that important to you guys? If we even protest, we are the ones at fault?

.
And I did not know that a time would come that even protesting over death of our citizens during Hajj could be called "sectarian" ... for God sake 1300 people died in this tragedy so thus and you expect us to stay calm ?! This year we've had raping, crane accident and now this one ... God knows what would be the next.
