You know what I feel, when It comes to making Pakistan's foreign Policy there are no right decision, some decision might seems right at the moment or for the time being but eventually we are like, wish we had/had not have done it or etc...I think Pakistan fate and future was change the day we decided to go nuclear and since then major Power are constantly trying to destabilize it one way or another...

Iran, many don't want to accept is extremists Shia and their sectarian ideology drive their Policies for creating allies and enemies on a worldly scale, Yemen and Syria are prime example of it, they are just as you said with India try to keep this dead Panjshir resistance alive or some pockets of resistance from Tajikistan, to make sure that Afghanistan and Pakistan remain unstable, unfortunately our Habibi's in GCC will look at us and remind us about the Alliance they were so eager for us to join, but it all comes down to that when it comes to Pakistan there are no right decisions.

I smell Khatmal :D
A bad system only breeds such choices.

. .
But he was our respectable general due to his family background. and he was leading Saudi alliance.

It was better if he helped to train CTD like departments to crush Anti Pakistani elements.

Anyway, my comment was just because there are lot of people who always wants Pakistan should become anti Iran, just for Saudi's interests, they did same against Iraq..

Now, Saudis are angry, because they want Pakistan should be Anti Turk, like they want Anti Iran in Past.

Tehran Times seems propaganda news agency created by India.
Pakistan will not go against the will of Turkey. Pakistan already fought against the Armenian war agaist the will of GCC.

It is always easy to talk about choices not made in retrospect. Yemen is Gulf's Afghanistan. Aligning with GCC states would have meant putting boots on the ground there. We are facing high levels of attrition at home and struggling to put down an insurgency. How do some of our compatriots expect us to fight wars in Gulf?

Pakistan will not make mistakes, we already learnt lessons during the first Afghan-Soviet conflict. Plus, Pakistan is not an economically strong country to absorb economic shocks and sanctions. Raheel Sharif took a wise decision, Pak army only join UN operations, approved by UNO. No more " on demand" by allies.

I agree with the decision made at that time. It was the right decision based on the ground realities of that time. We cannot judge the actions taken or not taken back then from the lens of the realities of 2021.

I guess its Land of Free and home of the brave then :usflag:
Absolutely - there is also an elitist system but warring ones. One very high level (Bezos, Koch brothers, Black rock etc) that has its chess pieces in the senate and house. However, unlike Pakistan where the middle class are ground to dust and thrown away in the belief that others will replace them - here they keep the middle class cycle working because it grows their wealth and keeps the system sustained. Pakistani system is inherently unsustainable which is why these elite get their kids out with backup plans to settle while they eat as much as they can.

What I like about US, is there a demand for anything or everything in this country, no matter how crazy your Idea is or how weird you sound in other Parts of the world you will be fit right here like a a Lego Piece, you will always find people who would share your thoughts and ideas for you to grow as an individual business or work.

LOL...

You can never be accepted as a true American unless you are from WASP crowd...

Most muslim people used to think like you before 9/11 happened. You should read their experiences....You are just some event away from being thrown out. Don't delude yourself.

I did, and they are now still focused on being American. Fortunately for me - Pakistanis did not accept me as Pakistani so Im used to it. Prefer to be in a place where at least I want to be one instead of being outcast by those I considered my own.

Well can't fault you with that one since I can relate to your experience , especially the bolded one.

Bhai People will always be attracted towards those religious or dare i say Sectarian regimes cause this is how the mentality of a Nation is built, Pakistan is majority Sunni and despite its reservations they will look towards Saudi's, the thing is that Allah has bless Saudi's with leadership (not today) but eventually " The " leader will come from them (Quresh). We are stuck between the two, and both play their cards on poor Pakistani awam.

Saudis are from the tribe call Saud from the area Najd, while Quresh is a different tribe from Hejaz. Saudis are the ones that sided with the British and betrayed their fellow Muslims the Ottomons during the 1st world war. They also invaded Hejaz and made it part of their Kingdom. So don't equate Saudis with Quresh

The only worthy king from the Saudis was King Faisal which actually took a stand against the Zionest and due to which he was killed by his own nephew.
