Iran first turbojet engine for airplanes

Its just copy of j85 with some modifications .... Probably it's trust is between 14-18 kn , it's a turbo jet engine

Yes it is but Iran built this engine a while ago they slowly worked up to being able to produce 100% of the parts some time ago.... Vast majority of the parts for the J-85 have been produced in Iran for well over a decade now....

It is quite an achievement to make a car engine, let alone a turbojet engine!
It will be great to see some high tech, high altitude Iranian Drones using this engine..

look like Ouj engine has some similitarity to J85-GE-21 ...
according of wiki , J85-GE-21 has 3,500 lbf (16 kN) military thrust; 5,000 lbf (22 kN) afterburning thrust ...

so its safe to assume that Ouj trust is between 15kn-17kn ...

CF700 doesn't have after burner , so it not suitable for military use .... but we can change design according of our need and make and small and light turbofan engine with 18-20 kn trust


with two small turbofan engine with at least 25kn trust , we can make light fighter jet in J17 and HAL Tejas class
