What's new

Iran Exports to Pakistan reach $860 million for current year

Sounds comical that such a thing would have even proposed.

If anything in the 60s.. Pakistans Gen Ayub Khan was proposing similiar deal with afghan King.. to create a confederation.

Pakistan accepting shah of iran as a ruler..

Our country was created with the blood of milloons .. not to merge with Iran.

Pakistans initial officials had pro Iran tilt due to their own interests .. Many of them were married to Iranian women.

Sikandar Mizas wife was iranian nobility.

Gen Yahya Khan was a Persian speaking Qazilbash.

Gen Musa Paks COAS was a Persian speaking Hazara etc.

Iran was also the first country to recognise Pakistan.. and so on.

Apart from the major point that both countries were in the Pro Capitalism American Camp against the commie Soviets who were at their doorsteps.

What again ای ایران and his anti Pakistan butthurt.. has no limit.
Of course it was a comical idea. The Shah was deluded about many things. We are a different breed of people from you. Ruling over aliens and foreign lands is not possible for Iran anymore and we dont want that anyway.

Stop smoking crack & quit your nonsense, kid.
Yes we are different.. we arent secterian venom filled wannabes like you.. a retarded theocracy run by nutjobs spreading disease of sectarianism like its arabi counterpart, the saudis.

But hey trade is good.. you can keep your mutah and the arabs can keep their misyar to themselves.

But when India defeated Pakistan in their 1960s war the Shah of Iran discarded the idea
Dadash teryak khordi?

Basically in the 1960s the Shah of Iran was a bit deluded and proposed the idea to try and integrate the Pakistani army and foreign policies under the leadership of Iran, which would make the Shah the head of state of Pakistan, but that the latter country would still retain it's own government and control of it's domestic policy.

What this would have amounted to would have been vassal state status for Pakistan under the leadership of Iran, with the Shah as head of state of both countries.

But when India defeated Pakistan in their 1960s war the Shah of Iran discarded the idea and started to distance himself from Pakistan and look down on them.
@Moonlight here u go another 65's Pakistan's defence victory denial

Dadash teryak khordi?

I have never tried it.

Denial? That's just facts dude. It has nothing to do with me and i dont really care who won that war.

Maybe in Pakistan you tell yourselves you won, but that's not how that war is viewed outside of Pakistan. Everyone else see's it as a defeat for Pakistan. That is why the Shah changed his perception of Pakistan and started making warmer overtures to India. If Pakistan had won those wars in the 1960s and 1970s, the Shah would not have ridiculed Pakistan and distance himself from them. This is just history for us. We dont care who won and who lost India-Pakistan sisterly fights with each other in their own imaginations. We just look at the facts and judge accordingly.

Well honestly I wonder why , you guys import energy and use it to produce sement for export ? And then you guys complain that lack of enough energy is Achilles heel of your industry .
Because of consumption.. power consumption is too high.

Line losses due to theft and old lines etc cause significantly losses in whatever energy we produce.

Industries are running but not to their full capacity. Many industrialists resorting to building their own powerplants.

Iran was also the first country to recognise Pakistan.. and so on.

Apart from the major point that both countries were in the Pro Capitalism American Camp against the commie Soviets who were at their doorsteps.

As for the military, both nations were planning on building tanks under Ayubs regime..

Pakistan was also the fastest growing economy of the entire region.

This was how Gen Ayub was greeted in western capitals;
