Iran Armed Forces ready for action on Abu Musa if diplomacy fails

Factual predictions? Seriously?

You guys should stop underestimating your potential opponents.

Can you guys damage US infrastructure and industrial capability? Answer is absolutely NOT.

Do we need to damage US infrastructure?
The USA already has a defense budget around 600 Billion US dollars while its debt has exceeded its nominal GDP. A war with Iran could raise oil prices to over 200$ and that would raise gasoline prices in the USA to over 8$. Moreover, we could cause damage to their military too, which would reduce their military power projection in our region which is quite bad for them.
We don't have military superiority over them for sure, but we do hold a very important position in global economy and regional affairs and geopolitics.

I didn't say the USA would be finished off, but their super power status would end right after that. You could disagree with me, but that sounds true to many people around the world, even some American journalists talk about that possibility.

Yes. Importance of infrastructure and industrial capability should never be downplayed in modern economics.

As long as continental US is safe, its economic activities will continue uninterrupted. Sadly, this will not be the case with Iran during hostilities.

You are forgetting the Libyan angle. West has found a reasonable alternative in Libya.

Not just Libya but their are more alternatives. For example; Saudi Arabia is showing willingness to significantly increase its oil exports.

This is an illusion. You cannot put a dent on US power projection capabilities without damaging its industrial capability.

You guys 'assume' that world economy revolves around Persian Gulf oil exports. This is not the case.

US have fought 3 wars in WOT and also tolerated an economic recession - and still remains super power. Iran can do nothing significant to change this.

Speculations, scare-mongering, and conspiracies typically surround events of significant nature in these times. No need to take them seriously. Instead focus on improving your knowledge of ground realities around you.

If at all there is a war, there would be damage to both Iran and Arabs. The rest of Asia will also suffer. Uncle SAM won't lose much. They will come with their B52, drop bombs and run away. It is our region that will suffer. America is in a far off land. We Asians should unite and not even think of going to war.

Agree with you on most points. However, Iran can hurt US allies in the region. And if America allows that to happen, they will lose their standing among allies world wide. That's what scares uncle Sam. Iran knows that. The conventional military comparison between Iran and Uncle Sam is useless. Of course America is militarily superior to many countries combined. But would be able to protect the damage Iran would cause to its Arab neighbours? That's the question.

These cocky wahhabi Arabs don't dare to admit that Iran is superior to them in almost every way as far as military is concerned. Their insecurity and supremacist-menatlity plagues their mind. The last time I made a thread comparing Iran and KSA in military terms, they started spouting rubbish in their posts (as always) for which the thread had to be locked... Anyway, the thread it still here for anyone who wants to know if these Wahhabis stand any chance with Iran:

The Arabs themselves are weak maybe with the exception of Hezbollah and it is accepted by neutral observers that they would take a good beating but that is why they rely on American help
