Please don't misinform others simply because you are yourself misinformed ...
o_Oi m not misinformed firstly i even don't believed it but in a visit to PAC kamra the AMF factory on 6th sep we were shown the manufacturing facility the final assembly and the flight test station. we were briefed about differences of block 1 and 2 i asked that question there that is there any chances of an increase in the speed of the jet will it always remain on 1.6 mach ..??? they told that we don't need to it goes upto 1.6 mach without afterburner we don't need much of speed we are focusing up on maneuverability and avionics. Bro i m not wrong here firstly i also don't believed that but i got it now confirmed by many active members of Jf-17 project any supervisors it goes upto 1.6 mach without A/B

How old are you by the way ??

Whats with my age the thing you are saying is that i am misinformed and i am misinforming other. bro you might be misinformed, i confirmed that things from 4-5 officials all said the same thing it goes upto 1.6 mach without A/B

Yup that 1.6 mach is without afterburner

Okay -- your still a child so I'll take it easy on you -- the claim "top/max speed" is always done where the engine is at full power over a set altitude ... hence the claim that 1.6 mach is without afterburner is false ... because I know for a fact ... being a marketing major ... if the jet could super cruise, they would've atleast highlighted that little bit, because JFT is for export as well ... and when you have a jet that is that cost effective and can do which only 4-5 existing platforms can do at the moment -- you kinda don't forget to mention that because it happens to be a key POD (point of difference) ..

I can however tell you a good news though .. the figures for JFT have changed on a regular basis ... be it T/W ratio, top speeds etc. The current top speed is some where between 1.6-1.8 Mach as formal claims of 1.8 Mach have been documented in Izmir etc.

The one advertised in the Paris airshow was 1.6 and max take off weight was 13,500.

In the same airshow a JFT pilot claimed a 1+ T/W -- so the point is figures keep on changing -- and its easier just to set estimates instead of debating --- "no this one's right and this one's not ..."

I think at different altitude speed varies due to thin air or dense air .

.
how many blk-2 aircraft are in service with the PAF? didn't PAC say they have the capacity to manufacture 24 aircraft annually yet were close to the end of 2015 and we dont have one squadron.

. . . .
Where is the video?

Isn't it the same production line which produced Block I?
It will be the same lines with a bit to re-tooling where different production equipment is needed for Block 2 compared to Block 1.

Where is the video?

This pic and the associated video is posted already in main JF thread. The video is from September 2015. Pic is most probably of 2P06. Which as you may have observed is already flying full livery these days
