We can use it for deep strike mission and destroying enemy ships and subs even before our fleet move forward . AN island must have 1 sq of F35 1Sq Su35 1 sq of Rafale 1 Sq of Tejas (excluding our planned fleet ) Each for seperate missions .

Jesus H. Christ!! Your enthusiasm and thinking is all well and good but you've given little thought to the practicality of such solutions. The days of single-mission fighter a/c is LONG gone and especially for carrier fighters. The need of today and certainly going into the future are fully multi-role one-stop solutions and thus the IN will be going for only ONE type not FOUR- I'm sorry but that is not feasible.

If US sells EMAL's, be assured that India would have to buy F-35C as part of package.

N-LCA is more of a tech demo, rather than a functional plane, no one is going to put a low quality plane on carrier where space is at premium.

Indian Shipyards could construct 100000+ tonnes vessel. It won't be as capable as US carrier due to inferior electronics.

I am sure when the design is finalized it will be closer to 70-80 K tons. AMCA just might fly off it, so might Arora. Let us wait and watch. We are talking about a good 15 years from now.

In all probability ,it will be the naval rafale, which i presume will be made in India. Given Modi's stance towards a stronger defence industry at home, it only adds to my assumptions.

Indian Navy unlike the IAF has a strong push towards indigenisation. I know for sure they would want an Indian Aircraft to fly off an Indian carrier. That is why they are pushing so hard for Naval LAC. To make sure they can use it on IAC-1.

my personal opinion....The naval lca- will never figure anywhere close to the capabilities of a rafale. IT simply isnt designed to do so.
