Nope the military exercise which suppose to take place in India was cancelled. India was little uncomfortable to let BD paratrooper to get into NE.

Gogo, i understand your concern about your beloved neighbour Bangladesh. But actually it is going into opposite direction.... I have been told by a captain who navigates ship in bay of bengal that a huge chunk of soil ( known as chor ) is rising within 20 km from bangladesh shore, so it has been difficult to them to navigate now a days... These lands were vanished under sea hundred years ago after a great earthquake ( i forgot exact year). Maybe other posters know about this earthquake which changed course of Brammaputra ! Now this land is rising again due to soil brought there by rivers all the way from Himalaya .... we are gaining lands, not losing it..

If its counter-insurgency training then BD folk should be glad. With India's rich experience in counter-insurgency for all those years of fighting NE insurgent groups , if ever BD needs to deal with such situations it will be very beneficial .

Also this will increase inter-operatability of Indo-BD forces in case they ever need to co-operate for a joint operation . By itself its also a great confidence building measure with the BD military . Good going planners on both sides

And again if bangladesh going under water myth becomes true it will not be too tough to control this quiet and calm water by building blockades with international help.
