What's new

India's unfair tirade against Bangladesh puzzles Indians too

It's rather the other way round. India is an artificial state that will always have to rely on its neighbors for its survival. If we let loose, it wouldn't even take a week for India to get ripped into pieces.

@Vijyes Yechury This idiot once even claimed that Indian economy would collapse

Some Bangladeshis on this forum makes retarded chimps look smart in comparison...

We have huge trade deficit with India. That needs to be addressed. We import a lot while our exports are miniscule. India imposes a lot of tariffs in our goods. Removing it will do. Also in the long term agreement on Teesta water sharing would take both countries relation to new heights. That's all I ask. Remove tariff barrier on our goods and a Teesta water sharing deal where no party loses. I don't understand what's so unreasonable here.

Whatchu talking about?

BD has a lot of duty free and quota free access to India since BD is a LDC.

India has offered a comprehensive FTA to ensure BD continues getting preferential treatment.

If necessary we will have to consider blocking transit to NE. We should tell India to get rid of the tariffs on Bangladeshi goods otherwise we will block the transit

Lol, why don't you start doing it instead of talking big on an internet forum ?

Tell us how much money our illegals send compared to yours?

Bangladeshis generally do menial jobs in India and contribute to the economy through hard work in exchange for meagre wages, whereas most Indians are gainfully employed in attractive jobs in Bangladesh, earning handsomely and remitting millions of dollars to India

Why does this happen ? Poor quality of Bangladeshi professionals ?

We will...when the time is right. Although I think simply threating to do so will serve our purpose. I don't think Hasina will do that. But she wont be ruling forever either. Wait till someone else takes charge. Lots of deals will be renegotiated.

How will you do that? Hw can Bangladesh let loose that will rip India apart? Don't utter anything without giving a proper method

Lol, do you have any idea about the geopolitical scenario of the region?

Bangladesh is situated just beside the Golden Triangle as well as within a close proximity to the Golden Crescent. As such, Bangladesh is the most significant transit hub for global arms smuggling. In other words, it is the most desired area to control and operate any insurgency in the region.

It wouldn't take much effort for us to strengthen the separatist movements in your Northeast. All we need to do is allow the logistical activities to take place. We don't even need to spend a single penny rather could even earn billions from the whole fun party.

Even economically, just take a look at the legal and illegal trade between Northeast, East India and Bangladesh. They are just asking for more and more border haats with us. Talk to any retail seller in Kolkata about the impact of Bangladeshi tourists on West Bengal economy. You will just get the picture of how economically dependent Eastern and Northeast India are on Bangladesh. Now you can guess what could happen if we start to impose barriers on this trade and tourism activities.

India has trade deficit with China. You can't expect everything.

India has better industrial base more over we are a very big nation. So it's quite normal. Once you start producing what we lack you will automatically benefit.

Water politics in my nation are really horrible.. no one can help banglaBang with regaring to this

So trade happens as per existing rules of the world .If India is going by the book nothing wrong. If not please point it kut. I am interested to know.

We have trade surplus with other countries too. We can't help them all took.

China is a much richer nation per capita than India and so China is not very reliant to selling to India.

India and BD are of a similar wealth per capita - India would feel more any trade war with BD than China with India.

It wouldn't take us much to organise another Pilkhana either.

That is, if we don't repeat another '71, undoing Bangladesh as we created it...

Another super deluded bongoloid living in his own lala land...

Here is the reality of Bangladeshi 'medical tourism'- ordinary Bangladeshis are literally selling land to pay for treatment in India.

http://indianexpress.com/article/in...ess-bangladeshis-stranded-in-kolkata-4370748/

Take Mustafijure Rahman, for instance. A Bangladeshi citizen, he came to Kolkata with high-value denominations. On Wednesday the brother-sister duo queued for four hours before leaving with some money. They’ll need to go back again on Saturday when some tests are scheduled. “We come to India for treatment because we know that here the quality of medication and treatment is far superior to Dhaka. It’s more expensive, but it’s a matter of life and death. We sold land to come here, and now that money has been rendered useless,” he said.

Total Bilateral trade stands at a ''huge'' $7.5 billion.

Of that, Indian exports to Bangladesh alone is $6.8 billion...

Really huge indeed , This is enough to make entire India dependent upon Bangladesh

You must be smoking something illegal. :-)

One the NRC is declared I hope govt starts by
eliminating their voting ,property and all rights of a citizens,
building huge detention centres ,n throw these people- women ,children and men separately .
Ask bangladesh for their deportation ,if they deny starts diverting rivers, army operations ,denying space for future infiltrators.
These are necessary so that things gets clear for any pole vaulting lungi.
