India is at most a little warm up for China to consolidate and feel good about themselves for giving India huge beat down. Nehru blundered heavily, but the Chinese were no better either, building a highway in the Aksai Chin. This dispute, like the Arunachal one, was entirely a creation of the British; the Chinese didn’t recognize what the Brits demarcated on the Aksai and Arunachal fronts, and rightly so.

Totally avoidable war, had Nehru agreed for a ceasefire mid October. Makes me angry till this day.
