Sorry buddy, my knowledge on that is only as good as yours. No confirmed news yet! But yes you are right, initially we did seek two subs.

Good luck with that But, generally in our part of the world it takes less than 15-20 mins to finish reading all that I have posted!

India doesn't have any nuke subs as of now. We had a nuke sub called INS Chakra which was leased from Russia, but it was returned to them after the expiry of the lease. We will be getting an Akula-II class nuke sub from Russia before this year end and the indigenous ATV will start water trials in mid August!
